Skinny Fiber The Award Winning Weight Loss Supplement

Updated on September 3, 2011

The latest weight loss supplement on the block, Skinny Fiber, claims to be the fat burning, appetite suppresing, inch losing supplement we have all be looking for; and with the western world facing an obesity epidemic this is exactly the type of supplement that is needed to help thousands even millions of people lose weight.

However, this is not the first time that we have heard these claims, many weight loss programs have made the same claims, but still, as a nation we are becoming fatter and fatter, so it begs the question, do these supplements and programs really work?

Personally, I do not believe that diets work per se, because the dieters mindset is that when they have finished dieting they will just go back to how they were eating before, and guess what? They will put back on all the weight they lost and much, much more. So if you need to lose weight you really have to follow a diet that completely changes the way you eat for life and not return to the way of eating that made you fat in the first place.

Anyway, back to Skinny Fiber, what is it all about?

Eat Less Feel Full

Skinny Fiber contains a few scientifically formulated ingredients that have been proven to aid weight loss by reducing the amount of food you eat and keeping you full and satisfied on smaller portions.

One particular ingredient is said to help with the #1 bane of every dieter's life, overeating. It is the all natural dietary fiber called Glucomannan.

In one study of 50 obese patients it was accepted that as a food supplement it was very good, and many of the subjects indicated that they had a 'full feeling' after taking Glucomannan. There were also other significant differences between the placebo and glucomannan groups, and results showed improved cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels with the mean weight loss of the glucomannan group being 6.5 lbs in eight weeks as compared to the placebo group who lost 1.5lbs in eight weeks.

Glucomannan is a natural soluble dietary fiber which expands in your stomach to make you feel full and satisfied. It may help suppress your appetite to overcome the #2 enemy of dieters, cravings.

Natural Appetite Suppressant

The appetite suppressing element of Skinny Fiber is known as Caralluma. It is a plant that is a member of the cactus family and has been used as a natural appetite suppressant in India for centuries especially during times of famine. It is very similar to the other popular product used for weight loss, the hoodia gordonii cactus found in the Kalahari Desert of Africa as they both act in the same way to suppress the appetite and lessen hunger pains.

In one study of 26 patients over a 3 month period it was shown that those who took the capsule containing the active ingredient significantly lost more weight compared to the placebo group who hardly lost any weight.

Chá de Bugre - The Brazillian Weight Loss Secret

In Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, the body beautiful is what rules but how do the beautiful brazillians achieve goal? Through the use of Chá de Bugre…one of the key ingredients in Skinny Fiber.

As well as its use as an appetite suppressant, Chá de Bugre also supports a healthy metabolism. In fact, during carnival and other festivals it is brewed in large drums for people to drink so that they can keep their energy levels on a high and dance the days away!

More Than Just A Quick Fix

All in all Skinny Fiber appears to contain key weight loss ingredients which have been subject to clinical studies and proven to help weight loss.

But don't be taken in by the hype and expect that you can continue to eat the same foods in any quantity, take Skinny Fiber and still lose weight. That is not how it works. You will have to change the way you look at food and make healthy choices. For example, stay away from fried foods, saturated fats and foods with a high carbohydrate content.

Skinny Fiber can help you stick to a new eating regime which you should adapt to for eternity. Because of its ability to make you feel full and satisfied you can eat a low fat natural greek yogurt, topped with a chopped apple and pear, sprinkled with 6 brazil nuts and a drizzle of honey for breakfast and stay full until lunch time easily.

Skinny Fiber may, at long last be the answer to our obesity epidemic, but it is not a magic pill. You have to contribute as well and it will only work if you:

  • Change your relationship with food
  • Change the foods you eat
  • Change the way you cook food
  • Cut out saturated fat, reduce salt and sugar intake
  • Change from eating refined carbohydrates to carbs that slowly release glucose and
  • Include some form of exercise into your daily routine; a simple power walk around the block is a start!

In light of what has just been said I recommend following a Glycemic Index Diet (GI) whilst taking Skinny Fiber because it will help to retrain you in your choice of foods and it enhances the effects of Skinny Fiber.

Yes, Skinny Fiber Works

In conclusion, Skinny Fiber is an excellent weight loss supplement that can effectively help you lose weight.

By simply taking two capsules with a 8oz glass of water half and hour before main meals you could lose up to 5lbs a week.
