Sleep Paralysis or Paranormal?
There is a lot of research available stating that sleep paralysis is simply awaking in your REM cycle, before your body can wake up and move. But why is it that so many people have experiences that are so unbelievably similar to one another? People that have never met or did any research themselves before experiencing this strange phenomenon? Well, I never believed in ghosts or anything paranormal until my first experience with both sleep paralysis and seeing an apparition at the same time. It was by far the most terrifying thing I had ever experienced up to that point. It wasn't until after that when things got weird. I continued to experience different forms of both sleep paralysis and feeling and seeing beings not of this world. Each time I did have an episode of sleep paralysis, I was aware it was the same entity trying to attack me, but it took different forms. Forms it knew would cause more fear in me each time. It wasn't until I realized that it was feeding off of my fear that I was able to stop it. I got angry instead. In my mind I screamed at this dark creature trying to take my soul and told it that if it hadn't hurt me by now, it couldn't. In that process, somehow I managed to move or make some sort of sound because my beautiful angel of a dog, my beloved Ardelia, placed her neck across mine and that entity has never come after me again in sleep paralysis.
That is not to say that I am not somehow a magnet for these beings from beyond because I have seen and felt them near me many times since, but these are different. These are people that were once living, but are still here for one reason or another.
Not even a month ago, I was cleaning my apartment because I was moving out the next day. I had been experiencing strange feelings and sounds that wouldn't be possible in the apartment for a couple months before this. In fact, the entire energy changed in the apartment the day that a neighbor came hysterical to my door, asking me to come to her apartment. I didn't know what I was walking into and had I known, I never would have gone. Her boyfriend was dead on her bed from an overdose and she was too hysterical to call the police, so I was the one who had to do it. I never got along with him when he was alive and did not know them well, but the energy changed after he expired. While I was cleaning, I felt something, someone behind me. I turned around and saw him. Not clearly, but a shadowy figure that was his shape and size. There was never any doubt in my mind that it was him. Instead of allowing him to scare me, I simply told him to get out of my way and let me do what I needed to do. I was on a time limit and I didn't have time to waste on his negative energy. I slept in my new apartment that night and I have not seen anything since, but it is only an amount of time until the next one comes.
I never asked for this or wanted it, but I have come to accept it. Spirits are everywhere. And I refuse to believe that sleep paralysis is just a dream state. There are too many coincidences to believe that. Not if you can control your mind enough to control the entity that is bothering you. There are ways to stop it or even enjoy it, depending on if it's dark or if it's peaceful. Stay calm and stern if you must, but remember that these dark creatures are not here to help you. They feed on your fear. Try to control it. Don't let them control you or you will be forever tormented by these dark beings and you don't deserve that. You are stronger than you will ever know and if you use your mind, you can stop this from happening to you.
