Slow it Down
The grind of everyday life can hold your life captive, even when there is nothing overwhelming happening the banality of everyday life can interrupt your zeal for it. Just getting through the morning cup of coffee, getting dressed and walking out the door often leaves you with the feeling that you just had your morning coffee now where in the heck did my day go??????? How often do you lose the day and can't seem to remember how you lost it or where it went? So often we go through our day and we aren't even present for our own life. How does this happen and what can we do about it? We live our lives at such a fast paced spin that we often do not even remember the day that we had, and if we do it’s just a blur with no details involved.
How does it happen, How does the day get away from us so easily? We need to slow down and take the day a little slower. I know that it's hard because we are pressed from all sides with things that need to be completed. Time is precious yet we treat it like it's an expendable commodity that has no meaning, and we wonder where it went. It is a sign of the times in which we live. Life goes by so very fast and we see no way of slowing it down. What we have to do is find a way to take a deep breath, let it out slowly and slow down the roller coaster that is our lives.
It's getting to the point that our lives need to be interrupted, because if it's not, we're gonna burn ourselves out and that's something that we can't afford. This is one of those times when Life Interrupted is a very good thing.
