Make sure you eat bland foods, easily digestible and soft. It is also advised that you should be careful with what you drink. Bananas are part of the BRAT diet because they are easily digestible. They make you feel full without constraining your digestive track. Bananas contain important nutrients which helps you to stay strong even when ailing. This also shows that bananas help getting rid of the bad toxins coming from the other foods you have taken. Make sure to only eat bananas if your stomach ache is not coupled with vomiting.



Applesauce is really soothing for your tummy because it can be digested easily, relieves diarrhea, and gives you calories. Apples are high in fiber, which provide roughage in case you are constipated.



Aside from relieving nausea, ginger has carminative properties that helps reduce gas and bloating. It can help with cramping pains, digestion and help heal diarrhea as well. Ginger can be taken in a variety of ways: eat it fresh, combine it with food, you can chew or make ginger tea. To help digestion, slice a piece and candy it after every meal.
