Suggestions of a Paranoiac for a Healthier Living

Tom's Fluoride-Free Toothpaste

No Fluoride in Our Toothpaste

So, we've all been told that fluoride is good for both your teeth and your bones.  Really?  Mmm…  Did you know that fluoride is the waste by-product of aluminum?  Many studies have shown that fluoride is dangerous to our health.   Water is a natural vital source, so why add a neurotoxin to it?  I mean, why not add vitamins to it instead?  Every time you brush your teeth with your mainstream toothpaste, your gums are absorbing the chemicals in it.  Ask someone who uses cocaine why they rub some of the powder on their gums.  It facilitates a rapid absorption into the bloodstream and to the brain.

I have personally switched from the usual Close-Up brand of toothpaste to Tom’s of Maine Fluoride-Free Toothpaste.  I can actually swallow it accidentally and not have to worry about calling a poison control center/

Arm & Hammer Essentials Natural Deodorant

No Aluminum in Our Deodorants

Sweating is the human body’s natural way of cooling itself and ridding our system of toxins.  Why would we want to interrupt our physiology by clogging our underarm pores with aluminum compounds in our deodorants?  It’s believed that using antiperspirants with the ingredients aluminum chlorohydrate, or aluminum zirconium can cause breast cancer in both men and women.

I was always a user of the Secret deodorant, but have since switched to Arm & Hammer’s Essentials Natural Deodorant.  Yes, I’m not as dry as before, but my pores and glands aren't kept from doing what they’re supposed to do in order to keep me healthy.

OMNIFILTER Shower Filter
OMNIFILTER Shower Filter

No Gas Chambers in Our Showers

Every time you take a hot shower, the steam and vapors bring out the worst in the water running out. Therefore, you’re technically supposed to be wearing a gas mask while you perform that refreshing method of hygiene for safety's sake. Chlorine is commonly found in the water, which is a skin dehydrator and linked to causing asthma and fatigue. Also, our hair’s natural oils are hindered by the chlorine and made to have a hardened texture. Placing a quality water filter on the shower head, will strain the streaming water of chlorine and other pollutants.

Living in Wisconsin by Lake Michigan, has encouraged me all the more to use a shower filter brand made in the same state by the name of OMNIFILTER. Using it has also prevented mildew and soap scum from building in my tub and shower walls. I also don’t have to use skin lotion very much by the water being softened.

Nature Made Multi-Vitamins
Nature Made Multi-Vitamins

Take Vitamins Your Body Will REALLY Absorb

Adults, children and seniors alike are advised to take vitamins every day to supplement their diet. However, if your vitamin tablets end up in the sewage systems or are seen in intestinal x-rays, then you need to examine what it is that you’re taking. Many popular vitamin brands are “metallic minerals” in that only a small percentage of the vitamin is absorbed while most of it passes right through and out through our solid waste.

Therefore, I went from taking Centrum brand vitamins to Nature Made, which don’t contain artificial flavors, preservatives, starch, or glutens.
