Garcinia Cambogia

This is an exotic fruit that is found in Asian countries such as India and Indonesia. I would list it right up beside the Avacado as another "Super Fruit". Like the Avacado it offers many health benefits. Some of these benefits are the following: Fat-blocker, Appetite suppressant to help control over eating, increase serotonin which helps in fighting depression as well as aiding in giving you a better sleep, for emotional eaters it provides balance to stress hormones and also aids with sugar cravings.

Fighting the Bulge

Garcinia Cambogia helps to prevent fat cells from forming by stopping the liver from turning sugars into fat. By increasing serontonin levels it will help cut down our emotional eating habits. This can really help us get down to a healthier weight that we want to be at. For many of us it would be wonderful to finally get rid of our bulging fat bellies. I know for me personally I can't say I would miss my bulging fat belly!

Make Sure it is Pure

You must be careful when you are buying the product as there is fake versions of it out there. Only buy the product that is made in Europe, Canada, or USA. Make sure that it is verified to be 100% pure that it is of high quality. Make sure that it does not contain - Ephedrine.

Traditional Uses

It has been used around the world in various countries mainly Southeast Asia. The extract has been used in making juices, teas and used in topical ointments. It was used in ointments because of the antioxidant- rich xanthones properties. Asian cooks also use the rind of the fruit to preserve and prepare foods such as curries. It is used in traditional medicine as a stool softener, laxative and to treat constipation. There is also dietary drinks that use Garcinia cambogia extract in them.

Summary

I have heard that Dr. Oz has given his thumbs up for the Garcinia cambogia calling it the "holy grail" for weight loss. This is something I am going to check out infact I just called my health food store and they have it on sale right now. So I will be making my way to the health food store this afternoon. If you are considering trying Garcinia cambogia I urge you to make sure that it is verified 100% pure with no additives. I hope this hub on holy fruit was interesting and helpful for you or perhaps a loved one.
