Surviving The Narcissist Epidemic

Updated on June 30, 2016

What It Is

There is an epidemic right now of narcissism in this world. Too many people are suffering terribly from narcissistic abuse with no idea of how to stop it or even what the problem is. Worse, they are being made to believe they are the problem. Surviving The Narcissist Epidemic is a free guide that teaches you how to spot narcissistic abuse and how to stop it with practical, common-sense advice for real-life situations.

Right now, someone you know is being harassed, gaslighted, scammed, manipulated and abused. It might even be you. We need to learn how to recognize narcissistic abuse in our own lives and in the lives of others so that we can shine a light on this silent epidemic and take control of our lives back. Narcissism is a complex disorder. Understanding it is difficult and dealing with it can seem impossible, especially if you don't know what you are dealing with. Much of the advice we see regarding pathological narcissism is well-meaning but misdirected, or hesitant and confusing, therefore it does not work very well. People's homes are not psychiatric facilities and most people are not doctors. There is a real need for common-sense, easily-understood explanations and practical advice regarding this disorder.

Once we can recognize pathological narcissism and the abuse that goes with it, we can utilize the techniques we have learned to put a stop to it.

What It Isn't

Surviving The Narcissist Epidemic is not a substitute for therapy, and it should not be taken as one. You may still need therapy to learn how to deal with the trauma that you've endured. The guide is designed as a tool to help you learn to recognize narcissism and the abuse related to it, and to teach you how to stop it from happening to you and to others.

It is strongly recommended that you do not show or read the guide to pathologically narcissistic people in your life. It is not written in such a way as to be utilized by them.

Who Is It For?

Surviving The Narcissist Epidemic can be used successfully by anybody, but was specifically engineered as a survival guide for those suffering from narcissistic abuse and torture, or who are dealing with pathological narcissists in their lives. This particularly includes people who are dealing with loved ones, co-workers or friends suffering from Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD, psychopaths, sociopaths).

What You Can Do

After reading Surviving The Narcissist Epidemic, share the knowledge with others. There are millions of people suffering in silence. If you spot narcissistic abuse, please speak out. One of the places we really need more information is in the workplace. Pathological narcissists often thrive in the workplace because supervisors, HR departments and co-workers simply do not understand what they are dealing with or what to do about it. Their harassment, manipulation, gaslighting and smear campaigns against other employees go unnoticed or are brushed off. Targeted employees are labeled overly-sensitive, reactionary types or as outright liars by supervisors and other co-workers who don't understand what is really going on. The entire workplace can become a situation where the narcissist has turned everyone against the targeted employee. People who do notice something is wrong or doesn't make sense don't say anything because they don't want to get involved. The narcissist depends on exactly that, so please, speak out.
