Tasty Low Carb Snacks

Updated on March 27, 2015

Hard Boiled Eggs

These are great and they really help to keep you full. You can eat them plain, on a salad or with some lunch meat. 1 Large Egg has 1 carb and 6 Grams of Protein.

Jello (Sugar Free)

Really helps curb a sugar craving and the best part is there is only 5 calories and no carbs per cup.

Raw Veggies

Veggies are never a bad option and they have so many nutrients in them. Plus the more veggies you load up with the more they will help you to stay full.

Cottage Cheese

This is one of my favorites, cottage cheese is amazing on its own or with your favorite berries added on top. 1 Cup has 8 Carbs and a whopping 31 grams of protein.

Celery With Peanut Butter

This is one of my favorite snacks to feed to a child. It has a lot of protein and its something you can feel good feeding children or feeding yourself. 5 Sticks with 1 TBSP. of PB each has 20 Carbs and 18 Grams of Protein.

String Cheese

One of the best options for people on the go, plus it tastes really good. 1 stick only has 1 Carb.

Nuts (except Cashews and Chestnuts)

Nuts are great on there own or tossed into a salad or even into some yogurt.

Full Fat Yogurt, Greek or Plain

Yogurt is so versatile, it is a really great breakfast on its own. Its even better with some nuts and berries tossed in. 1 Cups has 11 Carbs

Cold Meats

Lunch meat is a great option and can be eaten alone or as a wrap up.

Pork Rinds

I am a little skeptic of this one because there aren't any carbs, but watch for the fat and sodium. This is a snack that can be eaten in moderation.

Salad

One of the best options, it can be loaded with whatever veggies you like. You can even add some nuts and berries for added flavor. Just be careful what dressing you choose and remember dip your fork in the dressing. Do not pour it over the top of your salad.
