Ideal Human Diet

This is a very simple diet. Note that the word 'diet' has more than one meaning. I am not using the one that means a temporary way of eating to help you lose weight. I am using the one that means your permanent way of daily eating.

There are two parts of this ideal human diet. The first part of it is to eat food. Every human being on the earth does that. Maybe there are humans living on the space station or outer space that do not eat food. Do you know what food is? Not by identifying examples but to determine if an unknown substance is a food or not. This is extremely important and can save your life.

So the science of biology teaches what foods are. Plants create foods (so plants are foods) out of non-foods like minerals (so minerals are not foods), air, water and sunlight. Then animals eat foods. Now some animals eat plants by eating other animals that ate plants. Humans can eat fungus like mushrooms that are foods but technically not plants. They are fungus or fungi. So you can say that foods are substances that are alive or were alive.

Now for the second part of this. Before I tell you what it is, I will tell you that if the following people followed this, they may still be alive. The list includes Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Britney Murphy, Heath Ledger, River Phoenix, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Bruce Lee and many more celebrities. The second part is to not eat non-foods unless it is an emergency like getting bit by a venomous snake.

Now part of this second rule requires an explanation of minerals from foods and non-foods. Many will say with great authority that there is no difference between the two. Well first Paul Bragg said there is a big difference. Who is he? He was a pioneer in America's wellness movement and had the first health food store and first health food restaurant. You can divide minerals into two groups, organic minerals and inorganic minerals.

Before there was organic growing there was courses in chemistry and organic chemistry. In chemistry, you learn the reactions that different chemicals have. In organic chemistry you learn all about the reactions that carbon chains have. All life on earth is based on carbon that forms chains in the molecules. In fact they have a myth in India that all fire comes from the sun. But is it a myth?

What burns with fire on the earth is things that are alive or was alive like crude oil. The carbon in organic substances burn to form carbon dioxide. Please note that I worked as a chemist for the U.S. federal government. So the FDA and the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine limits a supplement to have only 99 milligrams of potassium. The ingestion of 200 mg of potassium can cause a need to go to the hospital. I am still talking about if there is a difference between consuming organic minerals from food and ingesting inorganic minerals from non-food.

Here is a quote from Livestrong so you know that I am not wrong or senile:

Potassium toxicity has serious consequences. Normal supplement doses can also cause adverse reactions. To prevent overdose, in the U.S., individual potassium tablets can have no more than 99 milligrams of the nutrient.

Supplementation without a mineral deficiency may raise potassium concentration in your bloodstream to a toxic level. Too much potassium, a condition known as hyperkalemia, is the most serious problem with taking potassium tablets. Other potential negative reactions not connected to excessive potassium include abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting and nausea. Intestinal ulcers are also possible.

The above makes no mention of organic potassium. Now you have heard that avocados are very healthy. An avocado has about 1,200 mg of potassium. Have you heard that you should not eat 3 avocados together? I have not heard that with any foods. So the people who swear there is no difference between getting minerals from food and non-foods are saying that you should not consume over 99 mg of potassium, but consuming 3,600 mg of potassium in 3 avocados is fine.

An average potato has about 800 mg of potassium and I have eaten 8 potatoes together with no problem. Using advanced calculus that comes to 6,400mg of potassium. I have never been even near overweight and I love potatoes. I eat only one meal a day.

Here is another example. Iron supplements are the biggest cause of accidental child poisonings. Now if your body is in any danger of getting of getting too much iron from food, then your body will not absorb it. Yet from supplements or iron fillings that I had with my chemistry set, you can absorb 9 times the amount needed to kill you.

Here is an excerpt from Paul Bragg's book, The Miracle of Fasting, chapter 6:

If you drink rain water or snow water, there are no inorganic minerals in it. It is 100% mineral-free. If you drink fruit and vegetable juices, you are drinking distilled water plus certain nutrients such as fruit sugars, organic minerals and vitamins. But if you drink lake, river, well or spring water, you are drinking un-distilled water, plus the inorganic minerals that the water has picked up. Some of this water is known as hard water, meaning it has high inorganic mineral concentrations that can cause health problems.

Now, let me give you a short lesson in chemistry. There are two kinds of chemicals – inorganic and organic. The inorganic chemicals are inert, which means that they cannot be absorbed into the tissues of the body.

Organic minerals are very vital in keeping us alive and well. If we were cast away on an uninhabited island where nothing was growing, we would starve to death. Even though the soil beneath our feet contains 16 inorganic minerals, our bodies could not absorb them. Only a living plant has the power to extract inorganic minerals from the earth. No human can extract the nourishment from inorganic minerals.

Many years ago, I was on an expedition to China when one part of the country was suffering from drought and famine. I saw with my own eyes poor, starving people heating earth and eating it for want of food. They died horrible deaths because they could not get one bit of nourishment from the inorganic minerals of the earth. For years I have heard people say that certain waters were rich in all the minerals. What minerals are they talking about? Inorganic or organic? These are inorganic and they are burdening their bodies with these inert minerals, which may cause the development of stones in the kidneys, gallbladder and stone-like acid crystals in the arteries, veins, and other parts of the body.

I was reared in Virginia where the drinking water is called hard water. It is heavily saturated with inorganic minerals, especially sodium, iron and calcium. I saw many of my elders die of kidney troubles. Nearly all the people were prematurely old because the inorganic minerals would collect on the inner walls of their arteries and veins, causing many to die from hardening of the arteries, strokes and heart attacks.

So it is good to put manure on plants because they have lots of inorganic minerals. Then they turn them into food with organic minerals. Soil will not burn but the minerals in it can be turned into plants that will burn. Now a plant that is 5 days old can be burned and it will release 5 days of stored sunlight. A tree that has grown for 100 years will release 100 years of energy of stored sunlight. So in conclusion it is not sustainable to release thousands of years of stored sunlight daily. We must create energy from solar cells and windmills. Note that this completely ignores the subject of climate change that is controversial.

Examples of how inorganic minerals can be bad for you. You need minerals but the bad ones can clog your arteries with calcium, or calcify your joints. Iron, manganese or aluminum can get into the lens of the eyes and cause cataracts. Paul Bragg said that millions of Americans suffer joint pain that is known as arthritis. It is caused by drinking water with inorganic minerals in it in his book called Water. Bragg asked his Uncle William that was an M.D. what caused arthritis. He said "we do not know the cause of crippling, painful arthritis, and we have no cure for it."

I am over 60 years old and have taken a lot of herbs and made money marketing a lot of herbs. I make tea and herbal tea (organic) with pure distilled water or reverse osmosis water that has no minerals in it. I also have a very good diet. I have also done yoga and meditation for decades. I did yoga since I was 12 and the WOPG meditation called Knowledge or Self-Knowledge since age 20. I also do fasting and have fasted for 22 days on pure water. I do not have arthritis or any pain. I have not had a cold, flu or headache in over 15 years. After reading a lot and talking to a lot of people I find that this is not that common so I listed what I do. I also do sunbathing to get vitamin D and nitric oxide. There are probably people who still drink tap water. A lot of that is fluoridated, has chlorine in it and also has dozens of medications in it. Before there was water purification there was always rain water.

Also I have never been overweight or even close to it. I have eaten one meal a day since age 20. Herschel Walker has only eaten one meal since age 18 and he can beat up any medical doctor. Why do I say that? He won the Heisman trophy in football and was a mixed martial arts champion. He is now 54 years old.

At around age 21 I was having a discussion with a friend that thought that spring water was the healthiest water. He said that distilled water leached out minerals like a leach. I was saying that distilled water was healthier since it like rain water. So let us look at it logically. Spring water has all waste that people have dumped into ground. It also has the urine, feces and manure of wild animals, including fish, that have done it in the stream.

Distilled water is made like rain water. The totally pure water is evaporated while everything else is left behind. Paul Bragg said that a great deal of misery and suffering was caused by people drinking spring water. People who have followed his lifestyle and wrote about it are Jack La Lane who did fitness shows on TV in the 1960s and lived until 96. Included is Clint Eastwood (age 86) and Katy Perry. Mystery Question

With all that you learned so far, you can answer this question. What substance is not a food that almost all Americans consume every day? This substance is also addictive. That is why it is in all processed foods and no unprocessed foods. Michael Greger, M.D., who reads every scientific article related to health and has over 100 5-minute videos on Youtube says that this substance kills over 1,000 Americans a day. Also this substance that is not a food and so has no calories makes people overweight. If you have not figured it out, they also put it on roads that are covered with ice and snow. It is salt.

If you are a chemist then you also know that there are many salts and salt (sodium chloride) is short for common table salt. For my article all about about salt see How to Live 30 Years Longer? As far as the video below, there is a group of people, Hallelujah Acres that changed into Hallelujah Diet that found that 85% raw healthy foods with 15% cooked healthy plant-based foods in the evening worked just as well as 100% raw. They found that this was easier for most people to follow. The above article has links to prominent website that tell that salt is highly addictive. That is why this salty substance is added to all processed foods, even sweet ones, but is not in any unprocessed foods.

Sodium is in salt but it is also in lye, manure and other things that you should not eat. There is plenty of sodium in foods that you should eat like fruit, vegetables and grains. So I am saying that you should just eat food like the wild animals do. salt is not sodium but has sodium in it. Have you heard of the Paleo Diet? The founder Loren Cordain Ph.D. says:

Unfortunately, as I browse Paleo cookbooks and magazine recipes, I see that many authors have decided to add sea salt to their recipes, presumably in lieu of regular salt. Before I get into the scientific details let me make it clear from the beginning that neither sea salt nor conventional manufactured salt should be considered “Paleo,” as both were rarely or never consumed by our hunter gatherer ancestors, and both maintain nutritional qualities that adversely affect our health when consumed regularly.

Have you ever heard about webmd.com? They have many doctors go over an article before it is published so there is nothing controversial in it. They have an article that says that consuming salt is worse for you than smoking. So they are saying that if you stop consuming salt and start smoking, you will be healthier! Weight Loss

Beyonce lost 20 pounds in 10 days. How did she do it? She followed the lemonade diet for 10 days. It has no salt in it. So try to eat no salt or as little as possible. How can you lose weight and eat whatever you want and eat as much as you want.

Eating more than one meal a day is a terrible idea that makes you overweight. Eat as much as you want within 5 hours of the day and be at your ideal weight. Another thing you can do is stop consuming animal products with growth hormones added to them. They make the animal and you weigh more. But we already covered this since they are drugs and drugs can make you weigh more and kill you.

Be Healthier

Wild animals do not consume salt and never have high blood pressure. Rats and chimps given salt did get high blood pressure. They tried to get meat-eating animals to get clogged arteries and have not found a way. To give plant-eating animals clogged arteries, all they have to is get them to eat animal foods. So avoid eating animal foods and salt and avoid clogged arteries.

In the video below Galit Goldfarb says that 50% of Americans are on medications that they take daily and will take for the rest of their life. That is not good for them but is very profitable for some people. It says:

Goldfarb takes us through ancient human history, demonstrating evidence of the earliest humans' health and diet (living into their 70s and eating plants, nuts, fruits, and legumes) and how humans moved shortsightedly away from that diet. Cancer free (without radiation), her final argument is simple -- while an "omnivore" diet may in the short term taste better, in the long term, it is unhealthy, not only for us but for our planet.

The 10 ingredients combined contributed to about 45 percent of those deaths, according to the study

Here is a study done on 10 foods or non-foods that people need more of and less of. Bacon, soda & too few nuts tied to big portion of US deaths. It says:

Overeating or not eating enough of the 10 foods and nutrients contributes to nearly half of U.S. deaths from these causes, the study suggests.

"Good" foods that were under-eaten include: nuts and seeds, seafood rich in omega-3 fats including salmon and sardines; fruits and vegetables; and whole grains.

"Bad" foods or nutrients that were over-eaten include salt and salty foods; processed meats including bacon, bologna and hot dogs; red meat including steaks and hamburgers; and sugary drinks.

The research is based on U.S. government data showing there were about 700,000 deaths in 2012 from heart disease, strokes and diabetes and on an analysis of national health surveys that asked participants about their eating habits.

In the study, too much salt was the biggest problem, linked with nearly 10 percent of the deaths.

"Good" ingredients

—Fruits: 3 average-sized fruits daily

—Vegetables: 2 cups cooked or 4 cups raw vegetables daily

—Nuts/seeds: 5 1-ounce servings per week — about 20 nuts per serving

—Whole grains: 2 ½ daily servings

—Polyunsaturated fats, found in many vegetable oils: 11 percent of daily calories

—Seafood: about 8 ounces weekly

"Bad" ingredients

—Red meat: 1 serving weekly — 1 medium steak or the equivalent

—Processed meat: None recommended

—Sugary drinks: None recommended

—Salt: 2,000 milligrams daily — just under a teaspoon.

Ideal Animal Diet

Wild animals are never overweight. Why? They eat everything raw. They decide what to eat by eating what tastes good. Also they always eat the perfect amount. How do they do that? They only eat one food at a time. So you can eat a mix of nuts, seeds and raisins, that are all organic and raw and you can eats tons of them and get overweight. But if you were to eat only raisins first (you can try it yourself), you would eat the perfect amount and stop. Then you eat the perfect amount of sunflower seeds and stop. Then you eat the perfect amount of cashew nuts and stop.

There are people who eat this way and they are called instintos and they eat the intincto diet. The name comes from using their instincts to eat right. So if there is a raw meat or raw insect that you like the taste of, then eat all you want. I do that with fruits that I eat first. Other foods take hours to digest. Many fruits are almost all liquid and they are like predigested so they take about 15 minutes to pass through the stomach. So try the above with fruits that you eat first.

      A human tribe does not eat any salt and has no high blood pressure. They grow old and have the same blood pressure as they did when they. Have you heard of the paleo diet? No salt is supposed to be eaten. I have only eaten once a day since age 20 and have never been overweight. Hershel Walker has only eaten one meal a day since 18 and he can beat up those medical experts. He is a mixed martial arts champion.

      Dr. Mark Mattson is the current Chief of the Laboratory of Neurosciences at the National Institute on Aging. He is also a professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. Mattson is one of the foremost researchers in the area of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative disorders. He is an expert on intermittent fasting (fasting less than one day). He says that it is ideal to eat once a day or once every two days.

      Very interesting points raised by you here.

      But, I would say that avoiding salt altogether is not good. I agree that the consumption of it should be minimized as far as possible.

      The second thing is that eating as much as you can at a single sitting is foolishness. All medical experts advise that you should take your food in much lesser quantities at any sitting but eat 4 to 5 times a day. This is the secret of healthy living.

      Modern processed foods use a lot of chemicals and in order to be safe my approach is to avoid processed foods as far as possible, preparing everything from basics although I still use ketchup sometimes. Even preparing from basics in not entirely chemical free in the modern world but it helps especially if one is careful about where one procures these basics from.
