The Law of Attraction or How to Stay Positive

Updated on August 2, 2016

«The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim "like attracts like" which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. This belief is based upon the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from "pure energy", and the belief that like energy attracts like energy». - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

“See the positive side, the potential, and make an effort.” ~Dalai Lama

The Law of Attraction

It was always interesting for me when to think that every positive or negative event that happened with us was attracted by ourselves. A lot of people and a lot of different thoughts, but today I want to share mine. I want to focus only on positive side.

On my mind a positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty. That kind of thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results.

With a positive attitude we experience pleasant and happy feelings. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy, and happiness. Our whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even our health is affected in a beneficial way.

Some people do not accept it, consider positive thinking as nonsense, and scoff at people who follow it, but there is a growing number of people, who accept positive thinking as a fact, and believe in its effectiveness.

Negative thoughts, words and attitude, create negative and unhappy feelings, moods and behavior. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause more unhappiness and negativity. This is the way to failure, frustration and disappointment. Negative thoughts drain you of energy and keep you from being in the present moment. The more you give in to your negative thoughts, the stronger they become.

Learn how to use “Law of Attraction” in your life

You can really start using it to its full potential when you begin to understand that it can be used in subtle ways every minute of the day. Becoming more mindful of your own thoughts helps you to see to discover what you should keep or remove from your own mind and the reality you experience. You will become more attentive to underlying negativity and can start to combat it with new beliefs and feelings that better reflect your positive vision of the coming days. This ongoing focus on self-reflection also enables you to start seeing what you really want from your future, and you can then progress to formulating clearer goals with actionable steps at every stage. But it is not enough.

We all can sit around and read different books, and visualize, and chant, and create dream boards. Those can be good and helpful things. But rather than waiting for the universe to manifest something for you, go out and create something new in this life. You need to start doing something, make your “Law of Attraction” work by your “Law of Action”.

But we are here to talk about thoughts. Our thoughts influence our lives, so whatever we think about most will eventually manifest. Ever noticed how when you’re in a wonderful mood, people around you seem happier, more polite, and easy to be around? If you focus on negative thoughts and feelings and identify with them, you attract to yourself more of that very same energy. Positive, happy thoughts have a high vibrational frequency.

One of the beginning steps in working with the “Law of Attraction” is to reach for a thought that feels better than the one you’ve been focusing on. You’ll feel a pleasantly solid feeling and a sense of relief in your being if the thought is one you actually believe. If the thought is too big a stretch for you, and you don’t quite believe it, you’ll probably feel fear, or some other negative emotion. So, therefore, that particular thought won’t take you into the positive direction you want to go in.

We are always vibrating something. Therefore we are always creating something, by drawing to us whatever is in sync with the thoughts we think and where we keep our attention. And our vibration affects our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. It also determines what we attract to ourselves.

We have the opportunity to change our lives just by changing our thoughts. Think about it. You will only reach your goal of changing life into positive way once you believe you can do it.

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts” -Marcus Aurelius Antoninus.
