The Storms of My Heart

Updated on June 16, 2011

Storms in Life

Source

When tragedy strikes more than once,

Great expectancy is found when tragedy continues to strike. If you have one bad experience after another, you tend to expect it to happen again.

When sudden losses are lumped together and there is no break in the clouds, the storms emerge.

You expect the worse.

Whispering the cries of agony, the heart expects to be hurt again.

Blinded to a sense of hope, a fear remained within the storms of my heart.

The ups and downs of my life's journey provided lessons to be learned. All claims to complain stepped forward.

Fear destroys a positive outlook and if we complain, then we remain.

Storms of Life

Fear struck my heart when I lost my job. Igniting a fire deep within me to destroy my hopes and dreams, but my fear of ashes ran out.

Separation torched my soul when my son and grandchildren moved out of state.

But it was disbelief that slapped its power when my mother died.

Heartbreak sank in with all its fears and pain. Gripping and shattering all my thoughts, everything felt out of control. The full force of the storm strengthened and it took hold of me.

It’s a slow fade and there’s a price to be paid.

An Ache for Faith

An Unexpected Storm

In wake of the storms, lessons emerged.

Delivering me out of the ashes, a stirring faith anointed me.

If tragedy can strike like that what greater blessing has He in store for me!

With promises made by God, the believer’s secret was revealed. The assurances of hope contained visions of my renewed dreams.

Of all these that remained, Faith, Hope, and Love, it was Faith-Inspired Elements that pushed my tormented skies over the rainbow.

Trusting God for all my needs allowed me to see the greener pastures ahead. By keeping my focus on my Eternal Father, I released the enemy of my mind. The enemy fled and I have been set free.

Hope tells us that where there is light, darkness has to flee.

Living with a divine expectancy for God to work is good to those who seek Him. For when they seek Him, they will find Him.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." -Jeremiah 29:11-13

In all things, love always hopes. Something praiseworthy happens when we actively outstretch our arms in faith to receive God's blessings. Opening the door for God to work in our lives we can expect great things.

We can find Hope in the midst of our storms.

Results are found when we pray, solutions are given when we believe, and faith is activated when we look towards the Holy Spirit.

Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding - Proverbs 3:13

Fear is the opposite of faith and love never fails. Always be ready to receive that blessing God has planned for you.

We are not islands for we are meant to reach out to others.

Hope breathes new life. Jesus gave me hope, He gave me life, and I have all that I need.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.- Psalm 90:12

Out of great burdens, great blessings can flow.

      "The Storms of My Heart"

The hub is rich in content, full of knowledge, wisdom and experience, educative in style and graceful in effect. It is "up" by all standards. The Huber deserves appreciation from the core of ones heart.

Faith is hope of mercy of God which has surpassed all His Attributes. Everyone of us seeks that none should tell a lie to him, none should deceive him, none should cause him any injury nor hurt his feelings nor cause him any loss nor degrade him nor deny his legitimate right. The same is due from him towards all. All are creation of God as we are. We must behave in a manner whereby others feel secure from our tongue and limbs. Every word and action of us should be such whereby cause of humanity is promoted. Thanksgiving is due for the One who has not only given us life but is also our Lord and Nourisher. His remembrance is the secret of our good conduct. It is our severe love for Him that brings his name in our hearts and tongues. He is every responsive to the call of his servant as and when and from wherever he calls Him and he responds his call and is close to him. Hence to call him for all needs and help is the essence of all dignity. Man is in loss except those who with conviction in Him alone bear good conduct and propagate the truth and observe patience perseverance against all odds. Their walking in wise council, mutual consultation, and taking care in all their affairs removes many undesirable results. They are not arrogant or oppressive and they behave in a polite and dignified manner. They extend hands of help to the poor and the needy, the depressed and the deprived, the weak and the destitute, the burdened in heavy debts or facing and financial difficulties. They play their role like a human being and thus the light shines all around due to their human behaviour.

      May God bless all.
