Learn From A Nonagenarian
Mrs Betty Hooper impressed me by her words so much I had to let my friends on Hubpages listen to what she has to say. An elder, which stands for wisdom, researched this issue for us to help the next generation. The children today lack proper nutrition. With the proper care and nurturing, children simply would not have Attention Deficit Disorder or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Turning to drugs to solve all of our relationship problems means harming your children.
Betty says, "It is very sad." At age 90, this former special needs teacher provides a simple approach to helping children with this problem. Although ADD and ADHD have numerous causal factors, she encourages us to start by removing artificial foods and sweeteners from kid's diets, and creating a diet journal to make a huge difference in the lives of your children or grandchildren.
Watch the presentation of Mrs Hooper below filmed at the Whangarei Public Library February 2011. Her passion to help others and concern for children go beyond collecting data as an independent researcher who is not affiliated with any group. Well qualified to talk about this topic, as she is old enough to have witnessed a deterioration of children's behavior over the decades, she self-funded a research trip to Cuba in late-2005, in order to compare the diets and behaviors there, with those in New Zealand.

New York Media Campaign Equates Soda with Weight Gain and Fat
People hear the media message over and over again until they begin to believe it.

Mrs Hooper provides a disclaimer when she speaks, because she is not affiliated with any large corporation, association or group. Her sound independent research and her ability to illustrate through graphics makes a lively presentation.
Imminently qualified, through decades of classroom experience and witnessing the deterioration of children's ability to sit quietly and learn, she passionately explains her point of view. Mrs Hooper self funded a comparative study of children living in Cuba in late-2005 to those in New Zealand to compare children's diets and behaviors. She concludes that additives in Food Are the Primary Cause of ADHD. Betty has become a popular personality on talk shows and the lecture circuit in New Zealand. Don't we all wish for her energy, exuberance and faculty of mind as an nonagenarian?
She explains that the label ADHD, which is a fancy term for hyperactivity, was assigned by the American Psychiatric Association in the 1980′s, who followed a show of hands, created this new “disease,” which they stated was treatable, but not curable and attributable to brain dysfunction. Not listening to the medical stance, she encourages parents to make the links and connections between food, drinks and hyperactivity today.
You will have a chance to listen to her wisdom live on February 18, 2011. Ninety-one year old Betty Hooper, whose idea it was to start a chemtrail watch group in her region in Northland, New Zealand, will be a guest on the Vinny Eastwood radio show with Will Ryan, on February the 18th, from 12-2pm, (NZT). It will be well worth tuning in, as this is Betty’s first radio broadcast and she says she intends to cover a range of topics that have received a pitiful amount of attention in the mainstream media, including the dietary causes of ADD/ADHD, the great health benefits of drinking goats’ milk and chemtrails.
