Best exercise to lose weight fast? There are many factors involved when choosing the best exercise to lose weight fast. These include cost, current fitness and health status, confidence, effectiveness of the exercise and how self concious you are. I've took many of these factors into consideration when choosing the best exercise to lose weight fast and believe that the very best exercise to lose weight fast is cycling and now I'll tell you why. first of all I tried many forms of exercise to come to my conclusion.

I first tried probably the most accessible method of exercise known, running. While running is an excellent way to get fit and lose weight fast it does have its draw backs. First of all you need a certain level of fitness to start out. Running is not easy when you are over weight and it can take a long time to develop the fitness needed to run as little as half an hour when you are over weight. Also running is a high impact exercise, this can cause a lot of problems with joint pain when you are over weight. If you are over weight your muscles are probably not in great shape and running with all that extra weight can mean you can cause yourself real damage. Knee and Back pain are common and the fact that it is going to take you a long time to develop the stamina and fitness needed to run for any great length of time means you aren't going to burn very many calories at least until you develop that fitness.

There are many different exercises you can do at your local gym. But gyms aren't cheap a membership can cost hundreds then you'll feel pressure to spend additionally on sports wear because people are going to see you. Also many people when they start out exercising on a weight loss programme lack confidence. Going to a gym and working out amongst people that have been training for years can be very de-motivating it's very easy to feel self concious and give up all together in this kind of environment. Swimming has many of the same problems for obvious reasons it's a great exercise but it's an exercise that many people feel very uncomfortable doing when they are overweight. That's why I've ruled these out as the best exercise to lose weight fast, amongst other reason I will later explain.

Simple speed walking can be effective as a best exercise to lose weight fast but it has many of the problems of running and it doesn't look pretty and personally myself, I find it mind numbingly boring. Working out at home can work very well whether it be aerobics dancing etc. The problem with working out at home is there can be limited space and often many distractions whether that's TV, kids, a partner someone knocking at the door, telephone going off. Exercising at home is a minefield of distractions just waiting to put you off your weight loss, exercise work out programme.

Cycling in my opinion is the best exercise to lose weight fast by a mile and now I'll tell you why. You can pick up a second hand bike very cheaply and after your initial out lay you are not going to incur further large costs. Cycling burns in excess of 500 calories an hour at a speed of between 12-14 miles an hour(a modest pace). Cycling is very low impact on joints and muscles so you are unlikely to cause yourself injury. You can start cycling from a very low fitness level unlike running and many other exercises. Not only that but you'll be able to cycle for longer which means you burn more calories. It's easy to cycle anonymously. This is a big one if you are self conscious about your weight. With a bicycle helmet on and maybe some sunglasses no one is going to even recognise you. Every work out can be different. Cycling is very enjoyable you can cycle to different places and see wonderful scenery. Cycling is safer if you live in cities, it's very rare that anyone gets robbed while cycling the same can't be said for joggers. Cycling can save you money. Cycling is not only a great way to exercise it's a great way to travel. Leave that car at home and bike to your destination. You can Cycle well into old age, because of its low impact many cyclist keep it up for a lifetime with no adverse effect on their bodies in fact the opposite is true in most cases cycling will keep you fit to a ripe old age.       This is interesting –I didn’t know that cycling can shed off this much calories. I’ve been doing dancing exercises to zumba music the past months knowing that I lose 500 calories for every hour that I dance. I enjoy it so much, and I’ve been looking for an outdoor activity to do that would also help me with my weight loss goals. Now that I know that I could lose 250-500 calories in 30 minutes, I’ll surely do more cycling in the coming days too, perhaps alternate it with my indoor zumba.

      The first 10 miles I did in 37.50, 16mph average. Coming back I was scenery watching so took it easy, what a lovely way to lose weight!

      I think provably the best exercise to lose weight is resistance training or weights.

      This is because muscle burns fat whether we exercise or sleep, so the more muscle we have the more energy we burn.

      Aerobic exercise is good for both cardiovascular health but you only really burn fat while you exercise when running or cycling, once you stop the fat burning tapers off sharply.

      Just the same cycling is a great exercise just as swimming as they are low impact exercise types.

      I like swimming because you are much less likely to be run over by a container ship or fishing vessel than a truck or taxi.

      What's really important though is consistency, regularly performing exercise is the key. One which I am extremely guilty of unfortunately..... to much blogging.
