The effectiveness of natural remedies

Updated on July 11, 2010

Natural remedies are the best for your body

From the beginning of time when man was created about six thousand years ago, our first parents Adam and Eve were given a special diet from God. They lived in what was called the Garden of Eden. The food supply consisted of fruit bearing seed grown in the ground and fruit grown from the tree. Our Heavenly Father, also created green herbs to be used for medicinal purposes to heal the body. Water, was used as a drink from the river banks to flush the body of waste materials and to feed, maintain, and regenerate every cell, organ and tissue in our bodies. It was at this time that mans lifestyle was the longest, because the natural diet, exercise, drinking of water, proper rest, communion with our personal savior, obedience to God and peace of mind were all in place. As time progressed, Noah was instructed by God to build an ark, and the earth was destroyed by the flood with only eight people saved from Noah's family. At this time Noah and his family were permitted temporarily to eat only clean meats, and vegetation was also offered to support the cleansing of the natural digestive system. After meat consumption became inclusive in the diet of mankind, their life span began declining as it altered from the original diet designed by God. What many people may not know, is that we have long intestines just like the herbivorous animals do, so our canine teeth were made to cut and tear only vegetables as well as these creatures. The other foods in our diet were grains, and nuts and they are to be crushed and chewed. I guess my point is that the more natural our eating habits and medicinal treatments are, the better our health will be. We can avoid a lot of harmful side effects if we use home remedies made from natural herbs. They are both convenient and less costly. We can also detect an allergic reaction quicker if we use remedies from our own kitchen. Finally, home remedies are more advantageous for its ability to keep the bodies natural healing process in sink when we choose to use it instead of conventional medicine.

Great article. Recently I found miraculous ways garlic can heal and be used as an antibiotic.
