The most SHOCKING foods! - What they don't tell you

Updated on March 22, 2010

What would you say if I told you that a small personal Pizza Hut Pan pizza contains a whopping 630 calories? Well guess what... it does!!!

Unfortunately most foods that we buy at a restaurant do not have the calorie content labeled on them and most of the time, we could really care less!!! I know that I am not worried about how many calories are in the pizza - as I am shoving into my mouth...however there are some foods that are so high in calories that it is extremely shocking! I have done a little research and decided to compile a list of the ones that I found most shocking and also some clearly better choices...don't get me wrong, you will see my driving through McDonald's too, but I am pulling in knowing that the Big Mac may be my best choice when stacked up against its competitors!

Shocking fact: Did you know that A McDonald's Crispy Ranch Chicken Salad has more Fat, Calories and Cholesterol than a Big Mac???

How much do you really know?

I used to eat Big Macs. Then I started making my own at home. It's now been years since I've had a fast food burger. They are just not worth the calories.

That is why fast food joints are now required to give customers nutritional information IF they ask for it. So many of us are "too busy" to ask, don't want seem offensive, or just don't want to bother knowing. There are a few on here that I didn't know about previously and I'm glad I know now! Especially that one about the grilled chicken. Thank you.

Good info, I try my best to stay away from all of them but when you have family outvoting you it can be hard to do. I do get less colds and flu than others around me that cant say no.
