10. Tropical Delight

1 cup of coconut milk 1 fresh or frozen banana

1 cup of guava nectar 6 ice cubes (not needed if using frozen fruit)

1 tablespoon virgin olive oil

1 cup of fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

Health benefits: Pineapple is an excellent source of iodine, making it a good food for the thyroid. Coconut oil has marvelous health benefits- from improving thyroid function, promoting weight loss, reducing sugar cravings, improve energy, and improving cognitive function. Bananas help promote brain function, reduce depression, promote healthy blood flow and bowel movements!

9. Anti-Aging Smoothie

1/2 cup orange juice 1/4 teaspoon absorbic acid (vitamin c powder)

1 cup of chopped papaya 3 ice cubes

1/2 cup blueberries

Antioxidants are the best allies for preventing aging because they bind free radicals and take them out of your system. This smoothie is rich in vitamins C and E, betacarotene, selenium, enzymes, and phytonutrients.

Health benefits: You can even save the papaya peels to rub on your face, it makes a great facial because of the papain, which is a protein-digesting enzyme which helps to eliminate dead skin.

8. Wild Berry Bright Eyes

6 Wild berry zinger herbal tea ice cubes 1/2 cup of blueberries, washed

1/2 cup of milk 2 teaspoons honey

1/2 cup blackberries, washed 1/4 teaspoon pure raspberry extract

Health benefits: Rich in antioxidants that help fight degenerative eye disordersand improve vision.

1 cup coconut milk 3 kiwis

1 cup pineapple juice 1 frozen banana

1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil 3 to 4 ice cubes

1/2 cup apple juice 1/8 teaspoon stevia or 1 tablespoon honey

Juice of 1/2 a lemon 1 banana

1/2 cup of milk 6 ice cubes

1 cup of blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries

3. Sunrise Surprise

1 cup pineapples 1 banana

1 cup peaches 1 cup of lemonade, orange juice, or fruit juice of choice

1 cup mangos 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

Health Benefits: Flaxseeds are very rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, fiber, and other nutrients.

1 cup strawberries 1 scoop orange sherbet

1 cup peaches 1 cup passion-fruit mango juice

      I like that you include healthy oils in some of your smoothie recipes. We just moved to an area where we can get fresh berries, so I'm going to be trying some of these smoothies soon. Thanks!
