Now a day, almost everyone has suffered any kind of problems taking you to the limit sometimes, creating heavy amounts of stress, making your life even harder, suffering from depression and being constantly attack because of a low self-esteem.
I will tell you 10 simple psychological tips for overcome all this problems and also some actual experiences with some people that suffered from this problems and how they surpass adversity, it's just a matter of "Changing the point of view" of your life and all the elements in it. You must accept that this will not be an easy task, but if you're tired of this burden, then you should seek a change in your life...starting with yourself.

1.- Be Happy.
Always keep the head up, maybe you're living a harsh time right now but look at the bright side, you're still alive and can do something to change it, when you're having hard times then you must take a risk and ask yourself "What do I really want for my life?". In every difficult situation the mental attitude is the answer to anything, if you have a positive mentally then you are one step closer to happiness. Just like all of the Hubbers here in HubPages we're doing our best to write high quality and evergreen articles, then you should do the same with your thoughts, keep them in a high quality mood and positive against all the adversities.
NEVER let another person step on your happiness and make you feel less or wrong, defend your thoughts and fight to achieve your goals in life, always give your best when you're doing what makes you happy.
2.- Give Love.
This advice is really important, in our days we're bombarded with divorces, breakups and ex-friendships, this can make everyone life harder, thinking that you are not the "loving" type of person, but in the end ALL of us deserves to be loved and to love back as hard as possible.
Just like in the advice #1 you must keep the head up and fight to get out of that black times in your love life, if you're fighting with your couple or having a discussion with a friend that turned to be a fight, then go and get it back, you must fight to give the better to your friends and family.
3.- Do what you Like.
Always keep thing interesting, doing something that you doesn't like will make you feel stressed and angry with yourself, try to have hobbies and do exercise constantly but do what you want to do, don't go to something or much worst don't pay for something that somebody recommended you, if you want to spend your money traveling around the world, then do it, if you want to take ballet classes never is too late if you really want to learn and more important for what you really want to do with your time and life.
As a recommendation against hard time I have to say that travelling is a really good medicine, it's really fun and fights the stress in your life because you're leaving your problems behind. Try to travel to somewhere interesting will full services and all paid before hand, leave all worries behind and just REST and live your life just the way you want.
Taking some vacations is a MUST for everyone, it's healthy because you will be free of stress and work load; if you don't have much money for a luxury travel, then stay at home with your family and spend some quality time with you loved people, any chance that you have to hug your children or to kiss your wife, always give everything for those moments.
5.- Keep learning.
Just because you already finished the University and you get a job that doesn't mean that you should forget everything. Keep an agile and strong mind learning something new, from a Masters degree or to a new hobbie or language, this will keep you entertain and with your mind skill at full capacity. Don't let other to make you feel down just because you don't know something that they know or something that the younger people must know, you're still able like anyone else to learn new things, never doubt of your own skills and break the limits in your life, keep a challenging side in it.

6.- Meet new people.
Don't be a square minded person, try to keep your curiosity and you thirst for knowledge at hand when you're in a public event and you must socialize, this can bring you new thing in the future. Maybe because you're shy or closed in you lost the opportunity to meet your soul mate or you just missed the opportunity to get a new and better job proposition, don't be shy and take the risk to meet new people, don't be afraid to show yourself to other, they won't hurt you for being yourself, just keep it simple, if you feel that you made a "click" with that person, then you're in the right path, if you doesn't feel that "click" then stand back and search for new people. Just be yourself, don't try to copycat someone else or being someone that you really are not.
7.- Learn from life.
There is not better teacher than life itself, learning from our mistakes and being positive to take risks are the skill we need, sometimes a relationship will end, or a business will be closed, but the important thing here is to learn what we did wrong and How we can change that in the future. We must remember, we're not alone in this life, we can search for advice in our elders, try to learn as much as possible and apply them in the real life, with more real life experience you will have better opportunities in the world with all your goals and plans.
8.- Ignore all the Negativity.
Wall yourself in against the negativity, this feeling is your worst enemy it will destroy all your progress slowly and painfully, don't make all of your work a waste of time just because you want to give up or throw the towel, always fight until the end, always show everything you have, don't give up on your dreams, keep them alive all the time, and if something goes wrong, then rethink your strategy and try it again with better resources, better mental attitude, and a better environment.
9.- Be, love and respect yourself.
You're the greatest thing in life, don't think other things about this, everyone has the potential and the resources to be whatever we want to be, we just need to get used to the idea that we can change our destiny and future if we chose to. Just like in other advice "Never let other to step in your life and tell you what to do" but also DON'T make yourself less, you can be your worst enemy and the carrier of negativity if you wish to, but you can also be your own ally and the holder of positive energies, don't let yourself down you are able to do anything if you put your mind into it.
Never let other to take your smile away, if you made a mistake, or you fought with somebody or you screw it up, then SMILE, this is highly recommended will help you to see the thing with other point of view, even a fake smile can bring happiness to your life and will make the path clearer and the options more viable in the fight against depression, stress and low self-esteem.
A good smile will trigger a viral effect in your surroundings, you will give other a reason to smile back to you or even others. Be happy with your life and do your best to keep it just the way you want.
