Traditional Asian Medicine: A Healthy Balance...and for me, relief from PAIN

Updated on March 11, 2008

For me, finding a healthy balance means finding relief from PAIN.

When a person thinks about what it means to be healthy, they usually mean being fit, of a suitable body weight and able to resist disease. For me the word healthy means something quite different. It means being without constant pain.

If you go to a doctor and tell him that you are experiencing pain, he will usually check for obvious signs of damage or other symptoms to indicate a disease. When all else fails, we are told to take an anti-inflammatory and drink lots of water and come back if things get worse.

For most of my adult life I have lived with severe back and general body pain. It is the type of pain that comes with a muscle spasm or deep tissue injury. It is so bad that every time I roll over in bed, the pain wakes me up. Often times I have to get out of bed and either walk around or sit on the side of the bed and do some stretching exercises to loosen up the spasm so that I can try to go back to sleep.

After several nights of this, and when I am completely exhausted from the lack of sleep, I end up literally sleeping in the same position all night long. The morning after is pure torture. Nothing short of a narcotic pain killer has made a difference and those leave me feeling hung over the next day. Sleep deprivation has been a fact of my life for a very long time and the result is that I am getting old while still relatively young.

Traditionally, doctors have told me to get more exercise, loose weight and go to physical therapy in addition to using over the counter pain relievers. It is very hard to keep up an exercise routine when your body hurts day in and day out and fatigue haunts you. In May of 2007 I found a simple, safe and effective solution.

A fruit and herb juice product called GoYin

My first introduction to GoYin was at a friend’s house where I was invited to attend a business opportunity meeting. Yes, GoYin is distributed via a network of home based business owners. I admit, I was only there out of courtesy to my friend. I already had a business and wasn’t looking for another. Besides, could a little drink of some super juice really help me? No way! I am a good friend though, so I bought a month’s supply of the product for my husband and me to try, just to support my friend you understand. Boy do I owe that friend a debt of gratitude!

The first thing I noticed was that everything I ate seemed to be super sweet or super salty. That led me to drinking mostly water instead of soda or fruit juices. Other than an increase in energy, which was a boon since I am normally so tired all the time, I really didn’t feel any different that first week.

About a week later I suddenly realized that I wasn’t yearning for an afternoon nap anymore which led to me wonder why. That was when I realized that for the previous week I had been sleeping through the night without waking up in pain. I still had the morning aches, but at least I wasn’t spending several hours each night dealing with muscle spasms instead of sleeping.

A few days later my husband mentioned that I wasn’t snoring as hard as usual and that is when I realized that he too was sleeping without the wall rattling snores he has always produced whenever he fell asleep. Nice bonus!

At the one month mark of consistently taking only 4-6 ounces a day I discovered an even more unexpected surprise. A normal menstrual cycle for the first time in my life! Due to a disorder called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, normal for me has always resembled an arterial rupture that lasted for as long as 10 days. Suddenly my cycle was complete in roughly 5 days without the hemorrhaging I come to expect.

The best part is that it happened again the next month as well and again for the next 6 months of product use. Oh, and did I mention the reduction in headaches? My monthly hormonal headaches were totally unresponsive to typical remedies and they too had become something I just learned to live with. Well, no more!

A reasonable person would probably ask right about now, if I ever went off the product to test if it was really helping. The answer is yes. I went off the product for 3 months, more due to a financial need rather than wanting to test the theory, but I have to tell you that those 3 months were more than enough to convince me that GoYin was the source of my relief. Especially when I was able to start taking it once again.

More than just an array of nutrient-rich ingredients, the GoYin formula achieves “Pei Fang,” an exacting combination that demands the right ingredients be combined in the right amounts and in the right order.

Dr. Shawn Talbott talks about why GoYin works.

You are probably asking yourself, “So What Can This Product Do For ME?”

That is what is interesting about this product. Nobody really knows. Why? Because everybody’s body needs different things and since this product is formulated with the intent to bring YOUR body into balance so that it can heal itself like nature intended, your results will depend upon what your body needs most.

The first results most people get are related to the primary purpose of this formula which is to provide a healthy source of energy, enhance mood and give an antioxidant boost. After that, who knows?

From personal experience I can tell you that my results keep changing and improving. To date I have experienced: more energy, depression and moodiness are almost non-existent, substantially less pain, my insulin resistance issues have virtually disappeared, overall my hormones are more balanced, easier weight loss, less snoring, better sleep which has led to needing to sleep less and an overall good feeling.

I’m not greedy, I would be happy for things to just stay right where they are, but I now have more faith in my body, and that it knows what needs work and with GoYin in my life, I know that my body has what it needs to do that job better. Feeling good never felt so good.

What is feeling good worth to you?
