Unique Ways to Lose Weight

Updated on July 11, 2016

Losing weight can be hard. You need to watch your calories coming in and how much you are allowing to go out, but this is so time consuming. With all of the tasty fast food restaurants and quick meals for the oven, it is hard to figure out how to eat healthy without breaking the bank.

No one wants to go on a diet. They want a chance to lose weight while still enjoying some of the foods that they enjoyed in the past. Of course, you will have to make some sacrifices, but if the diet becomes too restrictive, you are going to give up and go back to your original issues.

So what are the best ways to lose weight? Is it possible to lose some of this weight without having to starve yourself or do something insane? Here are some of the best ways to lose weight that will seem so simple, you will feel like you’re cheating!

Go to a Sauna

A sauna is a good way to go to help keep your body strong and healthy. Sometimes all you need is to clear out the system and the weight loss will come off. Some people swear that it helps to curb the cravings and can make you feel better about eating healthy!

Go on a Detox

A detox can be a great way to make the weight come off. Many people worry about going on a detox because it sounds painful and many of them have some harsh rules, but consider finding one that is safe and effective.

One of the best detoxes I have found is the ItWorks! Cleanse. This detox is safe and effective, using all natural ingredients to help clean out your system and can help you lose 5 to 10 pounds in just two days.

Unlike other detoxes, you are allowed to eat on this one. Simply take one dose at lunch time and one near supper time. Eat a clean eating diet, or as healthy as possible, and repeat for two days. Do this each month and you can naturally clear out the system without causing any harm to the body!

Clean Your Home

All those chores that you tend to forget about, or put off until later, can help you to lose some serious weight. All that movement, bending, stretching, and otherwise being up and about can help you lose weight.

Picking up the house is a good place to start, but consider picking one harder task to do each day as well. Perhaps have one day be deep cleaning the bathroom, another being cleaning out the garage and so on. This adds some more activity to the mix, especially if you add in a timer, and you will love how great the results look.

Play Like a Kid

Have you ever noticed that kids never sit still? They are bouncing around, wanting to play, all day long. This could be a great cue for you to lose some weight. Learn how to never sit still, and your body will burn mega calories.

Take the long way to go to your room or to a store. Consider going on an extra walk. Even spend some time at the park! You would be amazed at the workout you can get from climbing stairs, going down slides, and even doing the monkey bars.

Break Your TV

I’m serious about this one. Break the TV, move it somewhere harder to watch, or give it away. For that matter, do the same thing with your computer screen! The average American spends way too much time in front of the screen. This is time you could be up and moving and burning those calories.

Yes, we all like to watch our favorite shows, but making some adjustments can help to make weight loss easier. Consider only watching an hour of TV a day and finding other activities for the rest. Learn how to work out while watching your favorite show, such as during the commercials. Make sure that you get that workout in before hitting the TV.

Eat More Fresh Produce

There is nothing better than eating fresh produce any time that you can. These have so many antioxidants and good nutrients inside of them that your body really needs. When you’re eating all those processed foods, you are limiting how well the body is able to work, making it impossible to see results.

When you add in more produce, you can eat more while weighing less. Fresh produce is low in calories, high in nutrients, and really filling. A cup of fruits and vegetables are way tastier and more filling than a cup of pasta or chocolate. Plus the good they can do for your body is immeasurable.

A good way to help ensure that you are getting enough nutrients into your body includes adding ItWorks! Greens to your daily routine. Two tiny scoops add 8 servings of fruits and vegetables into your diet each day. Mix in with some water or juice and you have a tasty way to drink your produce without having to worry about the season.

There are several choices you can make with ItWorks! Greens. You can get the regular or value container. Pour two scoops into your favorite drink for energy and tastiness and you are ready to go. ItWorks! Greens also come in to-go varieties and chews to help make your decision easier.

If you have tried everything to lose weight and still aren’t seeing results, ItWorks! may be the answer that you need. It helped me to lose 5 pounds in a week without changing any of my habits and actually cutting down on my regular exercise amount. Check out the wide variety of available ItWorks! products at!
