Vapor isn't Smoke

Updated on November 1, 2015

My art!

I want to share this piece of art I've been drawing and tell you my story.

From the beggining

So, it all started with a Shisha or Hookah or Nargile, whatever you want to call it.

I just thought it was to cool to smoke, and apparently, the shisha tobacco hadn't as much nicotine as a normal cigarette, so why not?!

Then on my 18th birthday I got a Shisha as a gift, and I loved it, smoked all day, in a small room with a very narrow window, I'd get dizzy sometimes from smoking in the bed, or even sat, I had to move while smoking, and it was cool as hell to blow huge clouds, made of CARBON!

But the water filters the smoke

No, I'm sorry to inform that is bulshit, if the water filtered the particles drown from the carbon, why did my troat was always a mess? Because there was plenty of unfiltered carbon on it, and then we have the smoke problem, YES, IT'S SMOKE and not vapor, everyone knows that the water has to reach a high temperature to create enough vapor to filter anything, the vapor needs to be dense, and that doesn't happen in the shisha, so what you inhale is the direct smoke from the burning carbon that goes through the hot tube, it gets softer because the tube is hot but it's smoke anyway.

Getting dizzy while smoking

The reason why I used to get dizzy while smoking, was because it was slowly killing my lungs and I wasn't getting enough oxygen in my brain, and the dizziness isn't the worse consequence of that problem, if your brain runs out of oxygen once in a while, the damage doesn't worth the clouds and the awesome flavors that I used to love.

No nicotine, no problem...

Not really, because the 0,01 of nicotine in a brain that was completely nicotine free, the smallest portion of this poison, messes your brain after a while, and you kind of notice that but ignore it.

You get irritated, when you get back to room and hit the pipe, it feels so damn good, because your brain was missing it!

The healthier addiction

Well, there a lot of studies saying that the excuse smokers use to keep smoking is that tobacco or whatever they use, helps them relaxing, and this studies want to prove that is a lie.

But we don't live from scientific studies, we do stress out, and we need something to fill the gap, so we can move on, that's why I wanted to talk about a controverse topic and the difference between Vapor and Smoke and the real nicotine effects.
