These include the Lacto-vegetarian diets which exclude meat, fish, poultry and eggs, as well as foods that contain them but include dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt and butter. The Lacto-ovo vegetarian diets which exclude meat, fish and poultry, but allow dairy products and eggs. The Ovo-vegetarian diets which exclude meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products, but allow eggs. The Vegan diets which exclude meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products — and foods that contain these products.

A simple snack of fruits and peanuts with a glass of water is just as healthy.
