Wash away the negative energy

This world can be a scary place.

No two people are alike. We are all on this planet in the middle of space going round and round. Some of us feel lost and this puts them in state of fear from not knowing. As I look around this awesome planet of ours there are all different types of people. Some people are happy, some are sad, some keep to themselves. When you mix one another you get different results. One happy person with one sad person can either bring up the sad person to the happy level. Or that sad person can drag that happy person down with them and then spreading more sadness in the world. Every situation is different and at the same time they are the same. If we are to look around us and look deeper, we will see that we are all connected in one way or another. I want to try and see if I can share some methods for keeping you away from the negative energy.


A smile can go a long way

A smile can go a long way if you can manage to give a smile to those around you. Sometimes the smile will be returned giving back with the same positive energy. And thats just from smilling at someone. I know in the mornings that even saying "good morning" or "have a good day" to someone can also spread some positive energy. I know it does not seem like much but believe me it makes a difference. I know for some of you reading this your saying, "what if I'm just so angry that I don't think I can manage a smile even if I wanted to?' Try this small exercise and say this with me," Hold your breath and count to 10 if that doesn't work do it again" And repeat that till your body loses a little of the tension that you had started with. No this doesn't get rid of all your frustration and anger that you may have at the moment but it will center you so that you focus on something so simple and that is breathing. I remember watching some Saturday morning cartoon and that popped up a song with it about holding your breath till 10. But another method that you can do is instread of holding your breath is to let out your breath little by little till you reach 10. This in a way slows your breathing and helps you wash away some of the negative feeling your may have at that moment.

It can't rain all the time.

I know this hub is focusing on those positive vibes. But lets look at the negative in a positive way. You will never know true happiness without knowing true sadness. I know that hamster on that wheel is running now in your head. Yes I know it's hard to hear but you can't know the happy without the sad. North and South, Positive and negative, Hot and Cold, the Yin and the Yang. It is just apart of life and that is our chance to experience and learn from it. Go a few days without eatting tell me that the next meal wont be the best thing you've tasted in a long time. You'll be looking around as your eating saying," Please bring out the chef of this 5 star restaraunt so I can thank him!" As the guy that took your order says back to you ," Huh sir this is Mc Donalds" And then your saying back to him," Yes ...yes! Please give my thanks too chef Donald!"

Find your happy place in your mind.

I want you to think of a time in your life when you were happy. Your inner body can feel the warmth of how you felt even to this day. Hold on to that memory for a moment, we are going to come back to that in just a bit. There can be a lot of times we can't predict the day and who we encounter. Sometimes the anger of someone else can be channeled through you and end up becoming you mood just the same. Before you let this happen I need you to focus deep down inside and reject that negative energy that someone else feels they need to spead around. That saying that misery loves company is pretty true. So don't allow yourself to open the door that misery is waiting for you to enter and join them. What I would like you to do is take a deep breath and close your eyes if you are able to at that moment and remember that happy memory. Shut off all things around you and focus. Let this physical world slowly melt away and become one with everything. Embrace that memory that made you happy in that time of your life. Everyone will have a different memory of what makes them happy and thats okay. Just this little bit will help you from sinking down and keep your head above water. It will take some practice to get better at blocking out the outside world. But given time and practice you will be able to center yourself from looking within.


I hope that this hub helps you in taking away some of that negative energy that is bringing you down. Life can be hard and drag you down at times. But that is part of the roller coaster that we are on. And this roller coaster can have a few extra dips than we expect it too. We are not promised tomorrow so make the best of today and live it to the fullest. I know you have heard this before but "life is too short". You've read this hub this far and that says a lot about you. That you are wanting to climb your way up and push forward in life.
