Wash hands when anger will help you more comfortable

A recent study by German scientists has shown that, after the failure or angry, cleaning habits such as washing hands, washing clothes by hand will make us feel optimistic, happier.

Dr. Kai Kaspar from the University of Cologne (Germany) has conducted numerous studies on this issue every bad event. He noticed, people fail to wash their hands after something has become more confident to complete further work in the coming period.

Dr. Kaspar has invited 98 people who volunteered for the experiment and divided into 3 groups. In the first experiment, the team will have to deal, completed a mission impossible. When everyone in the group have failed, they are required to wash their hands.

After washing your hands, all are optimistic that they will do better than their assigned tasks in the future. However, not everyone has the ability to complete the task brilliantly in subsequent requests.

Dr. Kaspar explains: "While cleansing the body, you can eliminate negative emotions, but it also reduces somewhat your motivation to try harder in a new test case."

A previous study by the University of Michigan also pointed out, action has clean hands wash their hands and "swept" the agitated, frustrated. The researchers also pointed out, people clean their hands immediately after making a difficult decision will feel happy and more confident with their choices than those who do not work this small.

The research is published in the journal Social Psychology and Personality science.
