Ways to Boost Your 'Metabolism' and Burn 'Fat'.

What is metabolism?

Metabolism is a word, describes all the chemical reactions occur in your body. It's a process that is used by a body to convert food into energy and this energy keeps the body alive, functioning and feeling better.

People who have a good metabolism burn up their calories more than those having slower metabolisms, but there are lots of ways to increase your metabolism so the people with slower metabolism can boost up their metabolism by including some of these ways in their daily life routine. A good metabolism is a quick way to burn your fats and helps in achieving weight loss goals.

Some of the ways to speed up your metabolism are:

Plenty of Protein intake:

To strengthen your muscles, you need to consume more protein which can help you boost your metabolism and burn more calories. Intake of protein will also help you feel fuller and prevent you from over-eating.

High-intensity workout:

The high-intensity workout involves very intense and rapid bursts of muscular activities and can burn more fats by boosting up a metabolic rate even after finishing your workout.

Lifting heavy things and building muscles:

Lifting heavy things and building muscles will also be playing a good role in speeding up your metabolism because muscles are metabolically active than fats. So, this means a higher rate of strengthened muscles will increase your metabolism.

Having a good night's sleep:

Getting a good night's sleep is very important. The lack of sleep increases the risk of obesity, and bad effects on your metabolism, as lack of sleep is one of the reasons of insulin resistance and increasing blood sugar level, both can be the reasons to increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes which is also not a good sign for a healthy metabolism.

Drinks to increase your 'Metabolism'.

There are some special drinks full of nutrition to help in speed up your metabolism and detox your body, and you will feel energetic and fresh.

1. Chia seeds and lemon water:

It's a perfect morning elixir that you can drink hot or cold.

Chia seeds are an excellent source of natural antioxidants and are great for healthy metabolism and also helps in removing excess body fat. These seeds are excellent for detoxifying and cleansing your body combine them with lemon, this drink will help your metabolism, provide you energy and help you to reach your weight loss goals too.

Recipe:

  • A spoon full of chia seeds
  • Juice of a half lemon
  • A glass of water

Mix all the ingredients and leave the mixture for ten minutes and then enjoy.

2. Strawberries and flax seeds smoothie:

This smoothie has excellent nutrition value especially because of these two ingredients, flax seeds, and strawberries. Flax seeds are known for their excellent nutritional value as it’s a source of various nutrition like vitamin B1 and B6, potassium, iron calcium and many more but it's beneficial for health due to Omega-3 fats whereas, strawberries increase your protein intake and strawberries activate your metabolic rate.

Recipe:

  • ½ liter of skimmed
  • 1 cup of strawberry
  • ½ cup of oats
  • 1 cup of light natural yogurt
  • · 1/4 cup of flax seeds

Blend everything together and enjoy the benefits and flavor together.

3. Tropical cocktail:

This drink is very delicious as it contains a combination of fresh tropical fruits.

Grapefruit is a widely used fat loss ingredient. Honestly Tropical cocktail is one of the best fats burning drink ever because of its ability to boost up your metabolism. Must give it a try the result will impress you in less than a month.

Recipe:

  • 2 squeezed grapefruits
  • 2 slices of pineapple
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • ½ glass of water

Blend everything together and your tropical cocktail is ready to drink.

4.Ginger lemonade:

Ginger is one of the foods that strengthen your immune system and fasten your metabolism. As a result, your digestive process will occur faster than usual.

Ginger and lemon help you to lose weight especially if you have a cardiovascular exercise routine. You can drink this lemonade throughout the day, whenever you want.

Recipe:

  • Squeeze the juice out of 3 lemons
  • Grate a little ginger and infuse in a hot water

When the ginger tea is cool, add the lemon juice. You can add some honey but no sugar in it.

5. Apple smoothie:

Apples are excellent for detoxifying and energizing your body. They are highly impacted which reduces the amount of fat yourselves can absorb. They help in strengthening your muscles and increasing your metabolism to burn fat.

Recipe:

  • · 1 cup of light natural yogurt
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • ½ cup of almonds
  • 2-3 cinnamon
  • ½ liter of skimmed milk

6. Spiced infusion:

For this drink you only need:

  • Coconut water
  • Coffee

Mix it well and enjoy it.

9. Green smoothie:

Drink this smoothie half an hour before breakfast. This miracle drink will also help you clean the digestive system.

Recipe:

  • ½ slice of pineapple
  • A slice of cucumber
  • A stalk of celery
  • A medium slice of eggplant
  • · Middle-sized radish

Blend all these ingredients together then drink and enjoy its benefits.

10. Grapefruit and apple cider vinegar:

This one is very simple to make, it regulates the blood sugar level, flushes out toxins and burn fats like crazy

Drink one glass before each meal for the best results (remember that you must choose a good quality apple cider vinegar).

Recipe:

  • ½ cup of mint tea
  • A cup of grapefruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

Prepare mint tea then add grapefruit juice and apple cider vinegar and the drink is ready.
