Weight Loss: Little Dress Motivation



The first thing you think about when you realize you're going to a cocktail party is what am I going to wear? Before you try on the clothes look at your naked body. If it's in the hot season really think about it. So hard that you figure you better do something about the bumps and bulges before you get dressed foe that special night. You know you can do something about the way that your body looks before an engagement. You really can. Sometimes we know about an event, a wedding perhaps, a long time ahead of time. Considering that fact, we can do something can't we. Yes we can. Listen, it can happen and it will if you just try. Just try. The outcome will be so fantastic you won't believe it. It feels so much better to have any of the load we carry off our shoulders, or our...

I'm getting ready to do a few different things that involve being "camera ready." So why don't we engage this endeavor together. I'll keep you posted as to what I'm doing and how many pounds I'm losing, if any. No. I'm confident that some poundage will come off. I'm thinking positive.

I'm starting by making sure as I usually do, to not eat anything fried. I'm also going to stay away from sweets, and fast food.. It's going to be lots of salads and fresh fish and poultry. It does take some time to cook these things, but the taste... and the freshness. It's so good.

I'm using more and more fresh fruits and veggies in my meals. I will admit that I do dip some of my veggies in low fat ranch. It's just too tasty.We have to eat things that taste good or we will fail in our attempts to lose. It just has to be healthy. It has to be low calorie too.

I plan on drinking low fat protein drinks for breakfast, salads for lunch, and lean proteins and veggies for dinner. When I have something to drink it's bottled water, and bubbly flavored water.

I'm going to work out three times per week like my niece is doing on her program with her trainer. I'm going to mix it up with walking outside, DVD's. and weight lifting.

      I have made progress. I recently wore a little black number. I looked, and felt great for someone who's still getting there.. I am working hard to fit into my favorite dress though.

      I've started taking Raspberry Keytones. The weight is coming off quickly and I'm not even doing anything but eating healthy food.

      Lisa: Have you made any progress yet? Your hub about the little cocktail dress reminded me of a story from the past. A rather eccentric and slightly voluptuous friend of mine was invited to a wedding in London and she bought herself a gorgous designer outfit in a second hand shop. Problem was, it was not exactly her size. So for the next few weeks she tried every trick under the sun to fit into that dress. On the day of the wedding she could just barely close the zipper. So during the entire party she could not sit down or eat even a peanut. Nedless to say she didn't really enjoy the wedding party that she had looked so much forward to.

      Health is a great motivator. It really should be the first reason someone is inspired to lose weight. No matter what we do, we won't look good if we're not healthy.

      Good luck on your weight losing program! Amazing how people are always motivated by looks, rather than health. People lose weight to fit into a cocktail dress but don't ever consider how much damage they do to their body by eating too much chunk food. People eat high cholesterol food and pop cholesterol lowering tablets. People eat fatty food and go for liposuction. People never look inside their bodies, it's only the outside that counts. Hope you can motivate many more to join you. You won't only feel more beautiful but also more healthy.
