Natural, The Only Effective Method

The Right Way To Lose Weight
The Right Way To Lose Weight

Understanding How Weight Loss Products Work

So how do weight loss pills work, and are they the only oral way to lose weight? Let’s find out.

Co-enzyme Q10

Co-enzyme Q10 is a commonly consumed capsule for energy production. This enzyme is found in its natural state in all the tissues and organs in the body and results in each small organ in the body having adequate energy for its needs.

Very often constant travelling and lack of a healthy lifestyle lead to a general lack of energy and fatigue, making Q10 popular amongst frequent travelers for instant energy.

Sometimes people consume Q10 for staying energetic during weight training. What is important is that uncontrolled and non-prescribed consumption often leads to heart problems, high blood pressure, gum disease and immune deficiencies.

Q10 has also been found helpful in weight loss as is increases the energy burning levels in the body. This results in temporarily increased metabolism and resultant usage of the body’s reserves – the fat deposits.

Garcinia Cambogia

Garcinia Cambogia is a fruit that is used in HCA (hydroxy-citric acid). It converts the carbohydrates straight into energy rather than converting them to fat as is the normal practice of the human body. The HCA content in this fruit reduces the food intake and stops the formation of fat and cholesterol. Thus combining your diet with Garcinia Cambogia can result in directly converting your food into energy rather than wait for the natural process.

There are also a handful of unlicensed herbal slimming pills available over the counter with most chemists. These include fiber-based tablets and natural products to suppress the appetite, such as Chromium, and fat burning substances, such as Carcinia Cambogia.

So How Is It Supposed To Work?

Going by the claims of the companies, the body eliminates water through the urine after consuming such slimming or weight loss pills resulting in weight loss. Factually speaking however, there is hardly any evidence of weight loss through water. People can lose too much water and this can even cause the kidneys to shut down.

Besides, laxatives stimulate bowel movement and can lead to bowel disease. The bacteria in the gut changes and fails to protect the gut walls.

Other Claimants To The Throne

Red hot chilli slimming gel is the latest entrant in the slimming gel. It is applied for seven days and results in a burning sensation. This burning feeling is said to melt the fat and cellulite in the body. Don’t ask me how – I’m not about try it on myself for sure!

Some herbs are also used in the weight loss process. While some assure speedy weight loss, often people shirk at the idea of consuming herbs for weight loss as compared to slimming pills.

Organic herbal tea formulas are generally more effective in controlling weight. Sipping herbal tea throughout the day is good for health. It works by reducing the hunger pangs thereby reducing the overall food intake.

The Flip Side

Often, this form of weight loss doesn’t work well with the corporate community and frequent travelers who are constantly on the move and live their lives out on suitcases. Still the trend is picking among the health conscious segment especially those who are suffering from heart ailments and hypertension.

It is always advisable to stay in touch with the family doctors when it comes to charting diet plans for such avid travelers. Something custom made or home cooked cannot be counted as part of their weight loss program. It is best to work out a plan that works well even in vastly different environments.

I love when supplements come from natural sources.. my toothpaste actually has Q10 in it (Kiss My Face).

I'd have to research the weight loss qualities of these before I'd take them but natural is the way to go!

      @Narain,

You are absolutely correct. It is the wish to get things the easiest way that attracts the people towards such improbable schemes, be it easy weight loss or making quick money.

      Thanks for the insight.
