Weight Watchers and Dr. Oz Team Up

Updated on March 6, 2012

Why does Weight Watchers® attract the superstars? That is because it is the "super star" of weight loss diet plans.

Weight Watchers members will be quick to tell you, though, that Weight Watchers® is not a diet...it is a way of life. And who can argue with success? Named by US News & World Report as the #1 best weight loss plan, multitudes of testimonials corroborate the fact that it works.

Jennifer Hudson has been wildly successful on it*. (*her story below)

And now the doctor of all doctors, Dr. Oz, has joined with Weight Watchers in his crusade to bring greater health to the nation through making right choices and eating smart.

Dr. Oz's Transformation Nation campaign is an effort to unite people in a common cause: becoming healthier and stronger through good nutrition. Now he has added a partnership with Weight Watchers to get the job done. To add to the motivation, someone could win one million bucks! Jennifer Hudson

The one thing most everyone knows about Weight Watchers® is that superstar singer-actress Jennifer Hudson is their spokesperson. Have you seen their latest commercial with Jennifer of today singing alongside herself, Jennifer of yesterday? The dramatic change in her appearance is a living testimony that Weight Watchers® works.

In a recent interview with Good Housekeeping Magazine, Jennifer shares her story of years of struggling with her weight. Her amazing voice and outgoing personality were still not enough to win her the place in the spotlight that she should have enjoyed. She was constantly being passed over because of her weight, which eventually reached an all-time high of 236 pounds!

Now 80 pounds slimmer, everyone's saying "wow". She's gorgeous. And, she did it on Weight Watchers Points Plus®.

Jennifer shares many tips in the article that have helped her focus and succeed. Read Good Housekeeping's Interview with Jennifer Hudson here. Her new book, "I Got This-How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down" tells her inspiring story in detail.

Weight Watchers for Men

Another big-name personality shares his testimony of success on Weight Watchers® for Men.

Charles Barkley, NBA superstar, gained 100 pounds following his retirement from professional basketball.

Facing the fact that he needed to do something about it, he turned to Weight Watcher®s and couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Alphagirl, that dish (which sounds great) would certainly be economical.

We are busy too. It is hard to find easy, quick, healthy...I toss edamame in ramen noodles with frozen veggies, I make black bean burgers and use coconut mango dip with a side of couscous, fruit protein shakes with vanilla protein powder, salads with(left) over grilled chicken. I can't imagine wt watchers being economical and filling. People have to eat less, often and small portions to lose wt.

Our family buys them at our grocery store for quick meals when we just don't have time. Not huge but they taste good. Thanks Shyron for your input. Glad you stopped by.
