What To Do In The Hot Weather?

Summer days have been getting hotter. Most people are suffering from hot weather and the feeling is like baking in the oven. What is important is to take good care of your body and prevent yourselves from falling sick. There's a good way to deal with this extremely hot weather and stay healthy all the time!

What I like to do during the hot weather is to make some fruit juices/smoothies when I'm at home. I usually made these by my own with some references to books or friends. A glass of fruit juice/smoothie in the hot weather had totally light up my day.

So, I'm going to share with you some easy steps of making fruit juices/smoothies. It's a very good idea to quench your thirst especially in this kind of weather. This is pretty easy to make and I believe that everyone are able to do it.

I love fruit juices/smoothies just because it's both tasty and healthy! And for sure, it is 100% original without any flavorings like those you can buy anywhere in the shop.

Plus, the homemade fruit juices/smoothies do not cost much and it also does not take a lot of time to prepare. It's not like the one you order outside that taste very sweet and cost you at least RM10++ per serving. It's the healthiest fruit juices/smoothies!

What I normally do is, I don't buy those fruits purposely. Just using any fruits that have already inside your house refrigerator will do.

List of fruit juices/smoothies recipes

1. Lemon and Aloe Vera Juice

2. Orange and Peach Yogurt Drink

3. Mango Yogurt Milk

4. Grape and Lemon Honey Smoothie

Yeah, you will be surprised that all of the juices/smoothies listed above have their own functions as well.

Let's get started!

1. Lemon and Aloe Vera Juice --> Strengthens immunity

Lemon juice 15ml
Lemon honey 30ml
Canned aloe vera with juice 200ml
Ice cubes 60g


  • Combine all the ingredients in a glass and stir well.

Important tips

  • You can buy bottled aloe vera juices in case you cannot find canned juice.

  • The cheapest aloe vera juice only cost you around RM2 and you can make 2 servings with it.

One of the best, tastiest and easiest juices is ready to be served.

2. Orange and Peach Yogurt Drink --> Has slimming effect and nourishes the skin

Canned peach 150g
Orange juice 200ml
Original flavoured yogurt 200ml
Low fat milk 60ml
Ice cubes 120g


  1. Cut peach into cubes.

  2. Combine peach and other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture into a glass.

Important tips

  • You can easily find canned peach in the supermarket or any shops. One can of it can make 2 to 3 servings.

  • The smallest size of yogurt and milk are not costly. Each one of it can make at least 2 servings.

3. Mango Yogurt Milk --> Prevents colon cancer

A. Mango flesh 100g
Original flavored yogurt 100g
Milk 70ml
Ice cubes 100g
B. Condensed milk 1 tablespoon


  1. Cut the mango flesh into pieces.

  2. Combine ingredients A in a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture into a glass and drizzle with condensed milk.

  4. Stir well before serving.

Important tips

  • You can cut some of the mango flesh into dices for garnishing if you want.

4. Grape and Lemon Honey Smoothie --> Lower "bad" LDL Cholesterol

Purple grape 100g
Lemon honey 15ml
Milk 80ml
Ice cubes 50g


  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender.

  2. Cover and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture into a glass.

For me, I at least serve 2-3 times of fruit juices/smoothies per week. Take good care of your body!
