How to escape from Drug addiction that cause harm to your Health?

Day to day, the use of harmful drugs are causing challenge and problems to Healthy Society. Once a man uses it he tends to use it again and finally life itself will base on drugs. This will make the users to go to the source and they will do whatever they can get the drugs.

Drugs:

Clinical Definition:

A therapeutic agent other than food used for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment or cure disease in humans or animals.

General Definition:

Drugs which is substance which causes physiological effect when injected or intake to the body. Drugs are divided into the following,

Classification:

  • Stimulants
  • Anxiolytics-hypnotics
  • Depressants
  • Cannabis
  • Hallucinogens
  • Inhalants

Stimulants:

Cocaine, Amphetamine, Caffeine are comes under this group. Also Subgroups of stimulants like Synthetic stimulants like Ketamine, Mandrax and Steroid pills are under this group.

Anxiolytics-hypnotics:

They are group of sleeping pills. It includes Diazepam, Nitrazepan, Alprazolam, lovazepam and Cloridiazepoxido.

Depressants:

Most of the drugs in this group are used for curing body diseases. But many of these are misusing. They include Morphine, Codeine, Heroin, Barbiturates, Opioids, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Methadone, Pethadine, Oxycodone, Buprenorphine, Mepiridine, Pentazocine, and Destropropossifene.

Cannabis:

Cannabis different forms like Charas, Bhang, Marijuana, and Hashish are come under this group.

Hallucinogens:

They are the most dangerous drug group which includes L.S.D, Psilocybin, and Mescaline.

Inhalants:

Paints, thinner, petrol, diesel, Nail polish, Gas, Gum and aerosol are continuously used for getting drug effects by the youth. Start like this and finally ends in really drugs.

Tobacco:

Tobacco chewing, Cigarette and Beedi all are comes under this group. In between youths these are known like Hans, Madhu are dangerous to health and will leads to mouth cancer.

What is the reason for the use of drug?


There are many reasons a human uses drugs, they can be the following

  • To avoid Stress or Tension.
  • To feel good.
  • Temporary escape from family or social problems.
  • Rite of passage.
  • Trill of taking risks.
  • Media influence
  • Performance improvement ( Athletes takes steroids for getting good results)
  • Religious or mystical experience
  • Pain relief


Side effects of Drugs:

Metal-Body Problems:

Use of drugs is opening doors to Mental to Death problems. Drugs will affect the brain system and make the user feel better, but continues use will make them problems. They will loss the control of their mind and will become addict to the drug. They will show mental problems, sexual problems, sleepless conditions, and death tendency.

Social Issues:

Increase use of drugs in youth causing a bad effect on society. Unavailability of drugs to users leads to mental disorder and they will do whatever to obtain the drugs which cause a treat to the society. This will increase the criminal habits in drug addicts.

Parents should watch the changes in your Child:

Changes in habits of children are sometimes due to the use of drugs. If your child is good in study in early year classes and suddenly he/she is going down, then the parents should consider it seriously. Sitting along inside a closed room, Taking money without asking you, Not giving importance to food, reduction in cleanliness , more time is using for bathing and tiredness to everything are seen in drug using children’s.

Apart from these they hide the name for their friends, Meeting of elder people for drugs are to be also seen in drug users. If he/she it injecting drugs means, marks should be seen on their body.

Preventive Measures is very important:

Awareness about the harmful effects of drugs is very important among the youth. The parents and school officials have to think and give necessary awareness to children’s. Drugs addicts should be taken for diagnosis and better treatment.

De-Addiction:

In De-addiction centres, the drug addicts are given anti-drug medicines and also medicines to improve the working of brain nerves, liver etc which are affected by the use of drugs.

Counseling, Group therapy, and Rehabilitation also help the drug addicts to escape from it.

      It is very important to pass a bill against the drugs mafia and its users. why i am saying is that our existing population consists of majority youngsters. If govt: not considered seriously means Indians will suffer in future and may cause bad habits in society. So raise the voice against it.

      The best way to minimize the risk from drugs is not to use them. It should thoroughly be avoided because of its negative effects. Lot of awareness is needed and surely as you said the legal penalties for drug possession should be severe. Rated this article as useful and I think this is good enough to share with my followers.
