When Times Get Tough, Get Tougher
I’m not talking about walking around with a protective shell and a chip on your shoulder. Don’t do it just to prove people wrong. Do it because you want to. Doing it pridefully means you are the loser and they have won. It’s gotta be worth it to you because you want it so bad.
Going To The Mattresses (“The Godfather”)
Fighting the good fight that’s worth fighting doesn’t mean there won’t be any tears or aches and pains. It’s almost impossible not to get criticized with something you firmly believe in. There’s always going to be people out there who will disagree, laugh, argue with you and tell you to stop. After you have a good cry, get up, wipe your face clean, and keep going. In fact, keep doing what you were doing before, but this time do it with more strength and stamina. No one can defeat a tower of strength. They will try though. Oh I guarantee they will. Listen to what they say, but don’t follow their words. Go in the direction you know is right because your heart is guiding you.
Every Push Down Is A Push Forward
Getting knocked down can be frustrating, but what’s even more frustrating is missing golden opportunities because you gave in to lame judgments that ultimately have nothing to do with you at all. The people that try to bring you down and tell you to stop are just jealous because you’re doing something they’ve never had the courage to do themselves. So they delight in tearing you down to get you on their level. All the junk they try to feed you; you can use it as a driving force to keep going. Think of it this way, you are doing what they don’t want you to do because they fear the end result could go in your favor and not theirs.
Who Has Been Telling You No?
Think about it. What is the history you have with them? How well do they really know you? Have they always tried hold you back? Discouraging you and distracting you from the truth that you do anything you put your mind to is how they try to control you. They want you to stay down because they fear success they’ve always wanted, but never had.
Educate Yourself Constantly
You want this bad enough? Do your research on how to get it. Analyze every aspect. Mess up well. Screw up as much as you can until you learn to never do it again. Go out and get what you want, but be patient enough to let it come to you. It will eventually just fall right into your lap. I’ve wanted to get published since I graduated high school. Now look: And those comments you see, motivated me to start my new one. http://www.amazon.com/Dont-Judge-Me-My-Cover-ebook/dp/B013F9O6UC/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1447225145&sr=1-3&keywords=samantha+marcus
Roadblocks Can’t Even Stop You
http://www.mstarz.com/articles/52033/20150204/lord-rings-star-dominic-monaghan-delusional-suicidal-stalker-restraining-order-2015.htm There are two sides to every story. You are going to believe what you read and not the truth. Yep, I didn’t stop and ended up in jail for violating a restraining order against a person I have never met, have no idea of where he lives and I don’t have access to his phone number or anyone he knows. It was all because I opened up to him and honestly told him my story. But, I don’t regret it. I have stopped contacting him now. I’m just sitting back and letting things happen naturally as they are meant to. I’m continuing to go forward in my life and doing what I have wanted to since I was a kid...be a writer. And even though I haven’t made money on my book yet. I’m a published writer and it feels damn good. I’m going to keep going like I always have; even though everyone else has told me not to.
