Which is More Effective: Acai or Berry or Slim Fast Diet

Updated on August 8, 2015

There is a considerable amount of debate taking place. This debate is centered on both Slim Fast Diet and Acai berry. There are some people who claim Acai berry is the best weight loss option while others claim that Slim Fast diet is the best option. In order to make an informed decision we need to get the facts and look at the hard numbers in detail.

What's So Good About Acai Berry?

Acai Berry has a massive amount of antioxidants which can reduce the impact free radicals have on your body. These "free radicals’ will damage the DNA in your cells which lead to premature cell death and in some cases mutations. These antioxidants reduce the effect these free radicals have on your body which should help reduce the total number of cells dying. Another theory is that this large number of Acai berries can also help you lose weight. While medical science is trying to catch up with these berries the preliminary studies have shown that individuals who consume a significant quantity of Acai berries lose more weight than individuals who do not consume these berries. One of the theories is that the berries speed-up the metabolism which helps you burn off more fat. While these, berries are full of antioxidants they do not contain all of the vitamins and nutrients your body needs for normal functioning.

Benefits of Using Slim Fast Diet

When a person uses Slim Fast diet they will consume shakes that are packed with vitamins and nutrients in perfect harmony. These shakes will give your body the nutrition it needs to function properly. When the body gets all of the nutrition it needs then your metabolism will begin to work faster. This faster working metabolism will help you lose weight quickly provided you adopt healthier eating habits. You also need to get more exercise if you are truly serious about losing weight and keeping it off long term. If you are thinking about drinking these shakes and watching the fat just disappear you may be setting yourself up for a major disappointment. The human body needs to move in order to function properly and without sufficient exercise you will not lose weight.

So Which Is Better: Slim Fast Or Acai Berry?

Think of Acai berry as a supplement that will help your overall healthy while Slim Fast is a meal replacement. Both of these products will help you reach your fitness and weight loss goals so one is not "better" than the other but instead they are equally beneficial. Acai berry is not a meal replacement and Slim Fast does not contain the antioxidants that Acai berries have. What we recommend is trying both of these weight loss products and see the results for yourself. If you are truly serious about losing weight then you need to take action in order to attain your weight loss goals just remember that slow and steady is key for long term success when trying to lose weight and keep it off.
