Isn’t vaping just as bad as smoking?

Lots of people wonder if vaping is really any better than smoking. After all, if you vape:

  • Aren’t you still addicted to nicotine?
  • Aren’t you still spending money on a worthless habit?
  • Isn’t it really just the same thing in a different package?

The answer to all of these questions is: “No!”

Disclaimer: This article is about vaping...

Vaping is a term that has been coined to refer to the use of a personal vaporizer in place of tobacco cigarettes. This article is not about tobacco cigarettes or tobacco products of any kind.

Knowledge Helps You Make The Most Of E Cig Benefits

Vaping gives you choices and control!

When you vape, you have the option of enjoying the habit/hobby without the nicotine if you so choose. You have the choice of taking in the same amount of nicotine you have been taking in, reducing it, or eliminating it.

Aside from these practical choices, there are lots of fun choices in flavors, colors, styles and accessories that you simply will not have with obsolete tobacco cigarettes. Vaping gives you literally hundreds of flavors to choose from. Some are quite traditional: tobacco, clove, coffee, chocolate. Others are wildly exotic: caramel mocha, banana, coconut, pear, cherries jubilee and many, many more.

Personal vaporizers come in a number of styles, from traditional cigarette style to pen-style, pipe-style, and even a very high-tech, modern rectangular style. Colors range from white, black, tan, silver, gold, red, and pink, to more exciting and interesting patterns, color combinations and “skins” you can use to dress your e-cig for any occasion!

Accessorize!

Just as with any other technology on the market today, many people enjoy collecting e-cig accessories of all kinds. New chargers, cases, battery styles and so on come out every day, and the habit and hobby of vaping becomes more and more interesting and enjoyable to participate in.

Make friends and influence people!

Smoking generally puts people off, costs lots and lots of money, and eventually kills you, so it is definitely a very worthless thing to do. Vaping, on the other hand can be quite interesting to people. You may find yourself getting a lot of friendly questions from curious smokers and non-smokers when you vape.

What will you do with the money you save?

Vaping does cost money, but it is a fraction of the cost of obsolete tobacco cigarettes, and you get all kinds of positive benefits for your money (including lowered medical bills and possibly lowered insurance rates).

With smoking, you don’t get anything positive!

Vaping will not kill you! In fact it may very well save your life. When you vape, you control the nicotine and you do not take in ANY of the thousands of other toxic chemicals found in obsolete tobacco cigarettes. Vaping will also not kill your friends, relatives, co-workers, pets and house plants.

It’s all good!

If all of these great, positive things about e-cigarettes aren’t enough to convince you that vaping may be a very wise choice for you, think about all the negative things you won’t be doing anymore if you leave obsolete tobacco cigarettes behind and step into the brave new world of vaping.

When you vape, you don’t endanger the health of your family, friends, pets and total strangers with side-draft smoke. There is no smoke when you vape. You simply enjoy rich, flavored vapor that dissipates almost as soon as it appears. It won’t affect anyone but you, and it won’t bother anyone.

Be a better you!

Of course if you are not wreathed in toxic smoke all the time, you will be more pleasant to be around. You won’t smell like cigarettes. Your fingertips, hair and teeth won’t be stained. You won’t have an overflowing ashtray sitting next to you. People will probably tend to like you better!

You will like yourself better, too because you will be healthier. You won’t have a smoker’s cough, and you won’t suffer shortness of breath caused by inhaling smoke because you will not be inhaling smoke. You’ll probably find yourself catching fewer colds in winter, suffering less in the way of allergy symptoms, and generally enjoying better health.

Only you can prevent forest fires!

You won’t be a walking fire hazard any more! Your home, possessions and family will be that much safer from fire if you are not setting obsolete tobacco cigarettes on fire multiple times every day.

You can vape in the forest, in a barn, in bed, anywhere you like, and you won’t catch anything on fire! If you accidentally throw your e-cig out of your car window, you will not start a grass fire - but you might get a ticket for littering, so this is not recommended!

Be eco-friendly!

You will benefit the environment by not producing toxic, carcinogenic smoke. You will further benefit the environment by not throwing out multiple cigarette butts, packs and cartons, as well as all the paraphernalia involved in smoking (lighters, lighter fluid, matches, matchbooks, etc.)

When it comes right down to it, you will benefit the environment by not supporting the tobacco industry, which is a major polluter.

You will like them here or there!

One of the very best things about vaping is that you won’t have to lurk around in alleys and duck into the doorways of abandoned buildings in inclement weather anymore! You can just vape wherever you happen to be! If you are sitting at your desk working, you can vape. You can even plug your e-cig into the USB port of your computer to save your battery!

If you go out to dinner, you won’t have to excuse yourself while everyone else enjoys coffee and dessert. You can just sit right there and vape! You can even enjoy an after-dinner-liqueur flavored vaping experience if you wish!

If you go to the movies, you won’t have to miss important plot points to feed your addiction. You can sit right in your seat and enjoy vaping. You won’t bother anyone. In fact they probably won’t even notice.
