How Detoxing Can Help You To Lose Weight Fast!

Updated on January 14, 2015

We live in an impatient world where we all want to see fast results for the effort we put in! The same is true when it comes to weight loss. It's not enough just to lose weight anymore, people want to lose weight fast and you can understand why with all the pressure to look good from our media, celebrity driven culture.

Some people try unhealthy crash diets, others turn to weight loss pills with unknown health consequences. One of the best and most healthy ways to lose weight fast though is often overlooked, Detoxing!

Toxic World

Not only is our world a very impatient one, it's also highly toxic! Every day our bodies are subjected to an overload of toxins in the food we eat, the air we breathe, even the water we drink. We also don't consume as many natural foods or as much pure water as we should, which are all key elements of the detox process.

How Detoxification Helps You To Lose Weight Fast

Have you ever noticed that most people tend to gain more weight around the hips and waist than other areas of the body? It's no coincidence that both the liver & the kidneys, two primary detoxification organs are located in this area.

Toxins are harmful to the human body and if left in the bloodstream toxins have the potential to cause dangerous internal organ damage, even cancer. If we overload our bodies with harmful toxins on a regular basis the body will begin to create fat cells in which to store the excess toxins until they are able to be dealt with at a later date. We can see then that a lack of detoxification can lead to weight gain, especially belly fat.

There is some good news though, in the same way that toxins can cause you to gain weight fast, detoxing can help you to lose weight fast and especially to lose belly fat. When given what it needs to detoxify, the body will detox itself as fast as possible. That's why many people often feel a bit under the weather when they first start out on a detox plan. As the body drags all those harmful toxins out of fat storage cells and back into the bloodstream those toxins will temporarily affect your short term health until the detoxification period is over. When the body gets rid of the toxins it will also allow the now unnecessary fat cells to burn away leaving you with a slimmer waistline.

Less Fat In Your Diet

Another benefit of going on a detox plan is that a lot of the foods you'll be eating will be healthy whole foods with low fat and sugar contents. So not only will you lose weight fast by ridding your body of harmful toxins, you'll also lose weight because you'll be consuming less calories.

Keep The Weight Off

Once you've lost all that weight you won't want to pile it back on again when the detox period is over. If you make the effort to stick to a healthy, low toxin eating plan not only will you gain good health and vitality but you'll also maintain that slim waistline you've always wanted.

Thanks for the comment FullOfLoveSites & you're right, an overload of toxins in the bloodstream can be an irritant to the skin causing toxic heat. Get rid of the toxins and you get rid of the skin irritation.
