You probably see cucumbers in a variety of different recipes and sometimes beauty treatments! Listed below are 7 reasons why you should give room for this refreshing vegetable.

Placing slices of cucumber on inflamed or puffy areas on your skin can help reduce inflamation. This is why during some spa treatments, slices of cucumber is layed on the eyes, it is not only used to close eyes and relax, but to reduce puffiness and make the eyes refreshed.

Cucumbers are great for those who are having struggles with their digestion. Cucumbers have high amounts of fiber and water, which aids in removing wastes and toxins from the body smoothly and efficiently.

Hydration

Because cucumbers contain high amounts of water (about 95%), this of course means that it is a great food for staying hyrdrated and alert. This is why adding cucumber slices and other fruits to water is occuring more often. It prevents dehydration.

Cucumbers can make hair grow longer, and healthier. Using a blended cucumber and/or cucumber seed oil should do just the trick for beautiful, thick hair! Massaging the cucumber onto the scalp will make the scalp well hydrated and decrease the risk of having dandruff as well.
