Why you are feeling bored and useless
Do you ever wake up in the morning with that empty feeling in your chest with questions like ' what am I going to do with my day?' or ' What am I going to do with my life?'. Such questions of despair and helplessness reflect your situation and reveal that you haven't discovered yet your purpose.
As a result you are bored all the time. You don't know how to manage your time and so you indulge in activities that bring about minute and instant pleasures that pass time like watching television, Youtube videos or binging on series and spending unlimited time on social media.
The number one reason for these patterns of behaviour is because you go throughout the day with no set goals. So what you are doing the whole day is 'just going with the flow'.
You need to understand that 'just going with the flow' won't take you anywhere if you have big dreams. What you need to do is become the CEO of your life and not life's employee . You need to take charge of your day and most importantly your life.
I suggest that from today, If you want to change your life and ward off feelings of boredom ,temptation and hopelessnes, before you go to bed, make a 'to do list'. Write a list of things that you would like to do the following day to move you closer to your dreams.
This list can range from anything like doing research in your topic of interest, watching informative videos on your subject of choice, meditation, going to the gym, going to the store, calling a friend or making your own meal! You have 24 hours in a day, you can find a lot of other useful things to do other than watching television or series.
The more you construct the 'to do lists', the more in charge of your life you become .You feel a sense obligation towards yourself and don't procrastinate as often as you used to. This as a result builds up confidence, self belief and self worth and before you know it, you are making progress that before you thought were nearly impossible .
