Working out with Insanity

Updated on March 15, 2012

Alright, just thinking of when I started the Insanity workout, I didn't realize that my body could hurt. The Insanity workout really makes you work your whole body even though they focus on your abs because they want you to keep a tight abs when working out. I don't know how many of you try this workout but it is what they call it, Insanity.

At first, I was having second thoughts about doing this workout because I was told it was alot of jumping and that it was a hard workout, but after thinking about it, I told myself I could do it and I was up to the challenge. So I got the calendar and I can say with almost two weeks in it, I am noticing a little bit of a difference since I started.

This workout makes you push yourself to a point where, yes, you will get tired during the workout, but do not give up because it is worth it. It is important to have water with you because you will sweat. The good thing is that they give you thirty minute breaks. It is a whole different workout then what many may experience because they push you to work hard for a few good minutes and then you rest compared to what other workouts do.

To those of you who may do this already, you can probably say it was worth it. Now one thing is that if you have bad knees then it isn't good for you. But I am happy to say, I am glad I decided to do this workout.

Would you challenge yourself with the Insanity Workout?
