You Were So Sad When You Left

So where are you now?

Why hasten to leave,

Just because,

We cease to believe?

.

Why did you hurry,

To the grave?

Some say cowardice.

Some say brave.

.

Time heals all,

We’ve all been told.

But eternity takes an eternity,

For eternity to unfold.

.

Make or break,

As fast as you can.

Throw caution to the wind,

Time waits for no man.

.

Gather, amass,

Watch years pass.

Like falling sand,

Through an hourglass.

.

With the proverbial,

Banana peel,

You stumble and break,

And cannot heal.

.

Did you go blind,

Or was your veil lifted?

Is it saddest to be alone,

As your sand is sifted?

.

Mourning and weeping,

We are agonizingly bereft,

Because you were so sad,

When you left.

.

.

.........................You left.

.

.

And what becomes of us because you left?

.

      Micky Dee,

To handle such a sad event with such grace speaks highly of the tenderness that is you.

      Best Always,

      Kim

Perhaps, they are no longer sad, wherever they are now.

Oh Micky. So sad when people can no longer cope. Most of us have had the feeling to different extents, but to decide to leave this world is a HUGE step.

My dad always told me to think of those left behind. At the funeral of a dear friend last friday , it hurt so much to see the family who will feel lost without him.
