5 Tips for a Natural Acne Scar Cure

Updated on June 10, 2010

Struggling with cystic acne is often awful enough, but whether you pick at your pimples, or are just simply susceptible to quite awful acne outbreaks, they can leave ugly scars that are difficult to get rid of. In this article we’re intending to show you a number of natural remedies you can use as an acne scar cure.

Ice can be a good acne scar treatment method. Putting an ice cube on the affected area for a few minutes will help lessen the inflammation for a while. This particular temporary fix could be a effective option if you are planning to go out for the evening.

Green tea extract is a great acne cure in addition to helping with scarring. Drinking Green Tea as well as applying natural and organic products with Green Tea in them to your acne scarring can help improve your skin that should lessen the physical appearance of the scars.

Lemon Juice may help acne scars. Use some freshly squeezed lemon juice and dab it on to the affected region with a cotton wool ball. Leave for approximately 10 minutes and then wash off with water. It will help to greatly reduce blemishes on your skin so the scars will be not as obvious.

All-natural face masks for treating acne scarring. You can make your own natural face masks with ingredients such as oatmeal, natural yoghurt, and lemon juice again. Apply the face mask for 10-20 minutes then wash off, this acne scar cure should help in reducing inflammation and leave the skin cleaner and healthier.

Liquid Vitamin E makes a great acne scar cure. Vitamin E is great for promoting healthy skin. Rather than taking Vitamin E capsules internally, when you pierce a capsule with a pin you've cleansed with rubbing alcohol, it is possible to squeeze out the liquid Vitamin E and apply it directly to the scarred area. Leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning and your skin should be much better and your acne scars much less noticeable.

If you suffer from bad acne scarring, yet really don't want to think about the overpriced medical remedies, creams and lotions, there may be another option for considerably reducing the appearance of scars caused by spots and acne.
