I know I am glad I have obtained a lot of mine as I have been able to correct various mistakes I otherwise never would have known about. I am just wondering if medical record mistakes are as a widespread issue as I think it is.
Mistakes, yes, but more than that: Deliberate misrepresentations. Not me; I don't HAVE medical records (don't have a doctor). But my wife?
We've pulled her records--sometimes having to pretty much go to war or get sneakier than the clinics to do it--and found some NASTY stuff. Like the PA lady in South Dakota who described Pam as a, and I quote,
"50 year old toothless woman".
Way to prejudice the jury of your peers, Doc!
