No. Earth would become a pretty small place over the space of forever. In just a few hundred to thousand years you'd probably know every square inch of the earth by heart. If you couldn't leave it to go explore space I think it would seem more like prison than living especially since your knowledge would be astonishing.
I think just about any individual would likely become so much more knowledgeable than everyone else (assuming everyone didn't live forever) that in a few centuries-depending on intellect-they'd become the ruler of the world. That would be a bad thing for everyone else since that individual would likely be bored and maybe even a little crazy.
Just look at the difference in experience that there is between a four year old and an eight year old. Four years of life experience is an insane amount of knowledge. Once you hit about 300 years old I think talking to someone like Stephen Hawking (at his current age) would feel like you were talking to a four year old. You'd be entertained but ultimately view his thoughts as you would a child's thoughts.
You just wouldn't be able to find any conversation that was on your level anywhere in all of the world. It would be like living in a daycare center for eternity. A few hundred years of that...no thanks!
