There are a few things that lead to a great night's sleep.
1- Wake up fairly early so you will be tired enough to go to sleep later.
2- Eat well, so you have the right amount of energy to get you through the day. Sugar, caffeine, and simple carbs will only give you dramatic energy swings and crashes.
3- Exercise. It is a known fact that getting in a pretty good workout can help you fall asleep and stay asleep.
4- Spray a lavender mist on your pillow. Lavender is calming and helps you fall asleep, plus it smells really good :)
