If you have a partner, spouse, sibling, etc. living with you, ask them to massage your swollen ankles and feet. You can massage yourself too, of course (it just is nicer when someone does it for you).
You want to stimulate circulation by massaging toward the direction of your heart (up vs. down). You don't have to press hard to get a good result.
Do a search on lymphatic massage; this will help alleviate the redness and reduce the swelling. As mentioned elsewhere, watch your salt intake and be sure you are taking in the right amount of fluids.
