Are there any good homeopathic medicines (that actually work) for leg pain and other symptoms of MS?

A family member of mine has been living with MS for several years now and regularly goes for infusions to keep her mobile.  With reference to your question, there are many, many homeopathic medicines that can help alleviate leg pain and other symptoms, but - homeopathic takes much longer to take affect, it requires more frequent dosing, can have a range of unexpected side effects, and most likely, no matter what you try, will contraindicate prescription medicine, or be against the advisement of your physician.

I strongly advise in this scenario to seek out the expertise of a certified ND that has additional training in traditional medicine as a starting point.  Some accept insurance, others will offer a free or very reasonable initial consultation, and in most cases, all of your care can be monitored by a single physician.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi AC,

You are right, but the problem is, I have no insurance of any kind.  I'm already making payments on thousands of dollars in bills to several different "traditional" Drs and specialists and also for 2 ER visits, MRIs and blood tests out the wazzoo to rule out every other possibility besides MS.  All just since November of 2010.   I'm in "limboland," as they say, and can't afford the rest of the tests (Lumbar puncture and neck and spine MRI's) just yet until I pay off the first, second and third 'rounds' of Dr's and tests.  My neuro has a suspicion of MS, but I won't get a confirmed diagnosis until all the tests are in, understandably.  But, while I'm waiting, I'm still in a lot of pain.  The heat and humidity of summer has compounded my symptoms and made them way worse and it's kicking my butt from here to never never land.  So, with knowing a little more info about my situation, I'll ask again:

Is there any homeopathic remedies out there to alleviate leg pain, including but not limited to: electrical shocks, muscle spasms, pins and needles in feet and legs, sharp muscle pain, a feeling of "rolling over" of thigh muscles when I sit down, constant dull aching etc.  I hate taking OTC drugs like Advil etc, which doesn't help much anyway...just for only a little while, but I have been taking Tylenol 8 hour.  It seems to help a little better, but taking that stuff long term is NOT good for you and could cause other problems down the road.  So, homeopathic is the way I wanna go.  I guess I should have put all this in my description of the question.  I'm sorry for the non-disclosure.

Thank you for your answers. (:
