Hi there, firstly are you in the UK?
Does your question relate to getting a job if you are on Benefits (because you cannot work in your usual job) and therefore how getting a suitable job for your physical constraints will effect them?
If you are on Disability Living Allowance then you are fine to get a job as it is not a means tested allowance and is there to help you with your everyday needs so that you can have a normal life and work - for example help with transport, help at home (a carer) and equipment (Motability Vehicle, wheelchairs etc). If you are on Employment and Support Allowance (after a period of Statutory Sick Pay) then getting a job will mean that you lose your benefit (or it will be reduced). It is all about the amount of hours you can work and how much you earn as to how your benefits are affected. The best place to ask is your local Job Centre Plus.
Can you tell me a little more about your circumstance and I may be able to help a bit more.
