I agree with msorensson. Furthermore, I read an essay Marx wrote about Jews. Being a Jew himself, you'd think he'd make it personal, well he didn't. In the essay he says that when people wants rights, they usually have a model they try to emulate. He says that when a Jew wants the same rights as a German (this essay was written in the mid 19th Century, so views are relative to this period...), he must hold German rights and freedoms in very high esteem in comparison to his own and to the rest of the world... Point being, no one can make you "better" or "worse" than you already are...no one but you can "inspire you to become better than you are."
