GlstngRosePetals: Thanks for your answer and comments. Drinking water definitely helps make you feel full. The problem with American society is that they would probably choose to drink 8oz of beer or soda. These are empty calories and junk as far as I'm concerned because they do not have much nutritional value.
Whereas it would be great if we could eat three balanced meals a day and take time for snacks, unfortunately not all of our schedules allow us to do this. This would be great in a perfect world but not obtainable for most working people.
I agree, most people overeat at dinner, but what about people that overeat every time they eat? I know clients of mine that overeat at breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner. Eventually, it's a way of life and if they eat a regular portion size, they are left feeling hungry.
