Simple, be smart, and stick to foods you need. Humans can live and obtain the nutrients they need with 5 foods. Spinach,Broccoli, Salmon, Apples, and Brown Rice. Salmon can be re placed with Sardines if it is too expensive as they contain many of the same nutrients. This may be debatable however you could probaly live well on a diet of Eggs, Carrots,and Broccoli consumed in the right ammounts. Protein/Fats/Vitamin A, B Vitamins, Vitamin C, D, E,K, and many minerals. Eggs contain almost each nutrient the human body needs except for Vitamin C, and Pottasium. In theroy if you really wanted to live healthy on a budget you could stick to a diet of Eggs,Rice,Spinach, and Broccoli. Onions, and Carrots are extremley cheap vegtables. Banana are also very cheap and cost around 19 cents each at Trader Joes. What often takes more money is buyingt things such as Coffe, Sodas, Alcohol, Candy, Chips and foods that are not always needed. These add up over time, and many people spend over 15 a week just on sodas, Chips,Alcohol, and Coffe.
How do you eat healthy on a budget- In your grocery cart make sure there is mainly Spinach,Broccoli,Salmon,Apples, and Brown Rice. Or Eggs,Rice, Spinach, and Broccoli. Onions and Carrots are good choices. Sardines are also a relativley good choice compared to many other foods. If you are on a really small budget stick to Milk,Carrots,Onions,and Rice. You do not need to be remotley rich to eat healthy, you just need to be smart, and dedicated.
