I've only had personal experience with 2 diets. The Atkins diet about 10 years ago, and the diet solution [currently following], although I've also been reading a lot on the Paleo diet and am adopting some ideas from there as well.
The Atkins diet worked for me a while back, but now after more research don't like the approach to fats and lack of carbs from fruits/vegetables.
I am not a fan of any diet that uses pills to change metabolism. Supplements are ok w/me in terms of fish oil, vitamins, etc., but don't think any diet that relies on a pill to change metabolism or to "make me feel full" is healthy....
