Raw garlic is a great remedy if you can handle a few seconds of burning! Thinly slice a clove of garlic and place the sliver on the painful tooth or gum. Leave the garlic on the area for as long as possible (at first, this may only be possible for a few seconds.) Some people recommend chewing the clove up if you can stand the taste of raw garlic. Repeat a few times each day and you will be amazed at the pain relief. I recently did this home remedy for a gum abscess and it really worked. Best of luck to you!
