My family, friends and fitness keep me going through rough times.
Whereas family and friends provide support, fitness gives me a constructive way to outlet. I enjoy putting on my headphones, blocking out the outside world, and having nothing but myself, weights, and mountains of challenges facing me. I crank my tunes, achieve mountains of personal obstacles and have time to think and be by myself. Even at the gym, where there are other people, I am able to feel isolated if I want to.
When working out, there is no one to judge me (or I just don't care if they do) and I feel mentally and physically better after sweating, concentrating, and overcoming the mountains that were standing before me.
